  1. And that was the plan! Ain't no gimmick either. Jenna is a very real, very integral part of this story as Issue #12 will show.
  2. As of right now, I don't think so. I might be there w/ Heavy Metal to promote the debut of my new book.
  3. Check this out. LA MOLE COMIC CON SUPER EXCLUSIVE “11 X 17 Sketch Print” - Enormous #1 BW line art printed on a 11 X 17 Strathmore Blue Line art board. If you might be interested in one, I might easily be persuaded to take a reservation...
  4. Thank you Rush for taking note of their relationship. I really wanted to try and give James some nuance. Along came Allison. She was supposed to be in/out within a couple of issues. She'll be around longer than that. She was just to compelling to write and a perfect foil for James. And Allison left a big dialogue clue as to where she might have been, before scrambling home to try and warn her family.
  5. Hola, Getting ready for La Mole Comic Con and wanted to share a little something. The cover and flipside of the book (which is in fact a Spanish language translation-- more news on foreign editions soon) depicts a creature never before seen in the books. Now, some folks have been asking about show progress. This beast has never appeared in the books before... wonder what that might mean, wonder what it might have been created for, what use or purpose? Hmmm.
  6. You are awesome! Big Pete’s Collectibles 128 Lonsdale Avenue North Vancouver BC V7M 2E8 Phone 604-983-2325. Email bigpetes@shawcable.com From Big Pete PeterTurcotte himself: "To preorder a copy, either PM me (on facebook), friend me (same), or give our shop a call at 604-983-2325."
  7. Alright - let's make good things happen! Take a read - order your book now: "Here it is! We'll have the comic pictured in stock very soon. Enormous #11, published by 215Ink, Big Pete's exclusive cover, limited to only 215 copies. This issue features the introduction of "Jenna" to the storyline, a character designed by and based on our own Jenna Táralóm, how f'n awesome is it to be written into a comic!?! Jenna is a new and reoccurring character in the Enormous storyline and this is her first appearance! The real Jenna will be signing copies in-store upon arrival (street date coming soon)! As you can see on the cover, Jenna is wearing an orange armband, in tribute to her father, who has been engaged in an ongoing battle with skin cancer. So many people are affected by Cancer, we wanted to do something to help aid the battle, so we are offering this issue in store at $14.99. $5.00 from every issue sold will go to a Cancer fundraiser of Jenna and her father's choice. We can take payment through paypal, in store, or over the phone through visa/mc. If you are buying from out of the area, we are happy to ship the comic anywhere within North America. Shipping costs will be billed exactly as Canada Post bills us. Reserve your copy now, we will ship on arrival. None of this of course could have happened without the wonderful cooperation of the Enormous creative team and variant artist W. Scott Forbes. A social network awareness campaign will be driven through the use of ‪#‎togetherweareenormous‬. We will be working together in the near future to offer at least a couple more issues with additional other special offers, all of which will have proceeds go to help the fight against Cancer! Thanks again to co-creators Tim Daniel, Mehdi Cheggour, Scott Forbes, and publisher 215INK-- we look forward to seeing Jenna in action!"
  8. Nobody is jumping any sharks, at least not without me. You saw it here first-- Spanish edition of Enormous #1 with variant covers. More news on this soon.
  9. I love these and had placed an order with Terry and Kevin for them. Sadly Hoknes team stated that they had arrived in poor condition (they didn't have a single one above a VF) so they were going back to 215Ink apparently. We agreed to cancel the order (as I'm trying to get a complete set of Enormous in 9.8) but if these are new ones I'm in again. 100% BRAND NEW, redressed and reoffered. ORDER UP!
  10. Anybody with some deep pockets and deep love for TWD? Please take a look at this auction: http://www.ebay.com/itm/321988678372 Offered by Skybound's Shawn Kirkman in support of helping defray some care costs for a friend suffering with aggressive brain cancer.
  11. Approx. 30 sketch covers from Mehdi. The pic simply does not do them all justice and several are wraparound covers. Pencil and pen and ink. Interested in commissioning a piece? Inquire with Comic Con Art, as these are all spoken for already.
  12. How much do I love the heck out of you all? Thank you. And nope, honest, not making it up - there's movement with Enormous and another title. I think we'll all learn some things in the not too distant future. I even asked permission to blab and was politely instructed to wait. I shall honor that. As far as Joanne, if you're seeing this stage of her evolution as a crime, then we're going to be "most wanted" by the end of the third arc. Pick up #11 & #12 for some serious hints. Season 3 will bring Jorun, Ellen and Joanne to the fore and we'll see some characters from the short film adaptation finally make an appearance. It's all coming together.
  13. The Enormous #11 Hoknes Comics limited ed. variants are eerily reminiscent of some classic horror comics covers from long ago, and I love them so. Ordering open soon! http://www.hoknescomics.com/hoknesexclusives.htm
  14. It took over 5 years for Darabont to get the Walking Dead on the air. Keep that in mind. There is news. Really good news, but nothing I'm allowed to publicly discuss--yet. Swear it. And, it's more than just Enormous.
  15. This is what the entire issue of Enormous #10 looks like. Be warned, spoilers. If you dig, please pre-order!
  16. According to the source - 215INK this 01/13 date is for #10 which would be Season 2 #4.
  17. 60 issues is the plan. And BTW - welcome aboard. Appreciate the support and hope you enjoy the story as well as the collecting.
  18. This is what happens when you cosplay Enormous. Earlier this year, one of our biggest supporters and avid readers, Jenna, took it upon herself to cosplay as Ellen Grace, with some help from talented concept artist, John Gallagher. We loved it so much, we asked Jenna to design herself as a character that we would integrate into the book. She sent along some pics and costume designs. Here's a first look at the nearly complete creation cycle. Artist Scott Forbes gives us the first look at "Jenna" in this variant cover to Issue #11.
  19. One thing to add. You are going to want to order the Hoknes Comics variants and the ComicXposure version...super beautiful and both are very limited.
  20. News? I can't speak anymore. We're going to have to wait it out a bit for the new news. It's good news, really good news. But it will require some patience. And I've been holding it back for two months already. Hang with me!
  21. Over the next two issues we're going to find out more about what this mutation is all about. Hope you all liked #9 - really hope those of you that got the Blindbox enjoyed the Coloring Book months before it comes out.
  22. It took 7 days to get a posted response to my comment.....yeah.....VERY quiet Tim But I'm always here watching...there's plenty of news all the way around for Enormous-- both the adaptation and book. At this stage I'm letting everything take its proper course and due time. Don't want to screw it up!
  23. Quiet!?! Anything but! Is there another book on the shelves that looks like this? The amazingly talented Mehdi Cheggour's double page splash of Behemoth, a beast too big for it's own good - from Enormous #10.
