  1. If it's a Sundbloom autograph, then I'd leave it alone.......
  2. Is the grease pencil a pedigree thing? Ever try a silk or nylon stocking for removing arrival dates,or overachieving archives collector's secret library inventory system alphanumeric embellishments? I've seen cactus stickers removed, using them as well when running the material over the pricked area. The replaced fan belts are a MacGyver trick. Fish nets don't work as well, but the field work can be rewarding. Or is this trespassing into restoration concerns?
  3. Nice double cover group! Even an EC! The only one I've 'uncovered' of late, is a Gladstone Don Rosa duck book..... I'm still puzzled how I missed you last week? Your about the 3rd or 4th row from the (west) end/fence, just beyond the first 'crossing' as I recall. And you had a Tarzan lure? Drats! Are you planning to do the 5th Sunday show, here next weekend? I'll take along your business card and call you, if I can't spot you! That Captain America annual you showed (on a different thread) is a great book, in any condition!
  4. Hey Bob. Missed you out at the Long Beach show today. Did the threat of rain get you to leave early?
  5. Interesting thread! Glad to see that people learn from their mistakes! But all those "hear" and "their" misuses are, after all, coming from a specialty niche of collectors seeking out printing errors! Knot that I'm purfect.... Irregardless ... But annoying enough that I was seaing double!
  6. If you can align enough knot holes, indeed they might! Every tangent or vector is subject to rip tides that..... I bet you play chess as well, unless I read more into that cover theme arc, than I should. Sounds like you ride a bike. But do you own a crystal ball? I do. Can't find my hooded robe though..... To much LDS in the 60's? On Spock's advise, continue to live long and prosper, and get those babies away from me. I'm more vague than vogue. At least that what the think tank thunk. And it's not even 4:20 yet. I predict a chess game with golden age prize package. Remind me to show you my coverless stock. And all those culture vultures just keep circling!
  7. Hey Bob, outstanding thread! Thanks for pointing it out to me when we talked last Sunday at the Long Beach show. (I'm the guy who bought the Tarzan tin and the Aston Martin DB5 Corgi model car.) I have to admit I was skeptical at some of your statements. But after reading and seeing (for the most part) your posts (the visuals were/are hit and miss early on), I'm a believer! I use to think that unless you had a brick and mortar shop, the old stuff is not going to surface! You've shown that is simply not true! I'll PM or call and see if I can entice you into a tour of the archives of my 50 years of collecting, in it's many facets. Between the comics, pulps, paperbacks, magazines, good girl art, toys, premiums, art, rock and roll, under grounds, fanzines, cards, and what not..... We just may find something in common as well as mutually lucrative.
  8. Of course many can't see it..... (transparent humor may not be apparent)
  9. Thanks for the info. I was unaware of the Kazar 16 also falling in that niche.
  10. So what is the deal with the 1976 Inhumans #5 being a 30 cent cover price, then #6 coming along back to a 25 cent cover? It appears issues 4 & 6 have 30 cent variants? Does anyone have an issue 5 with a 25 cent cover price? I've got a 30 cent #5, and even though #6 was released at 25 cents, a 30 cent #5 is not unusual?
  11. I suppose he need not unzip to , etc. he does seem to have some sinus issues?
