Im 95% sure Ill be there. I might be taking a delivery for my work to davenport and thought Id stop in. Im coming from St Louis. Is this your first time being there? It is for me. What type of books/dealers should I expect? Where is your booth, Ill stop by and say Hi! Quadcon did a show in St Charles (30 min out of St Louis) back in October and it was a good time! Also any food recommendations?!

After I contacted him @ 7:50 cst he responded at 7:52 pm with "sorry that happened. send the book back and ill refund your money" Then at 7:55 pm "on second thought just keep it and ill refund you" Then 7:56 "i just sent you the money keep the book as a reader" Then I asked to make sure and I got this "yes you keep the book and money due to it will be hard to sell to anybody. plus you can read most. Also it was my fault I didn't check it. So I left positive feedback!! Also when I posted I was a little annoyed and said it was the 3rd EC in a row with problems...not true this is 3 out of 4 my last one was a steal in my opinion! Ill check and see if I posted it...nope here it is!

I was so excited to get this today as I’ve been wanting a copy for a while now. When I opened it up and was counting the pages I noticed that it was missing half a page and a full page! this is the third book in a row that I have bought on eBay that has been missed stated or the seller was unaware of the defects. Contacted the seller who does not except returns but I am hoping that he will. You guys can all find it on eBay but nowhere in the description or the item title does it say it is incomplete at all. Hopefully he takes it back with no problems...

I saw that on ebay and thought about getting one. But it was $45.

85-97 Swamp Thing 1-13 WOW I really liked this series a lot!! I only got this because Ive always wanted to rad the Alan Moore run but Im getting the Omnibus so I can read everything up to Alan Moores run. Ive been told I should read Rick Veitchs run as well. This TPB is available for trade/sale it has HOS 92 and 1-13 of the Wein/ Wrightson run!

I cant find out how many of the TFTC books there are...Ive seen 6 and a few others that dont have a # but look like the same thing. They are from "Bullseye Books".

Ok so here is what the insides of that TFTC book looks like. Its just the story told in written form with a few panels. Also I thought I was getting an upgradeon this Panic 7 but it had an undisclosed detached cover... this is 2 ECs in a row! If you need a filler copy let me know..

Hi guys! So I was looking at buying a tales from the crypt book and couldnt find what the insides looked liked. Does anyone have one of these and could I see some interiors? Or any other info? For the record I just bought it since it was $5 and has a awesome Jack Davis cover!

Ive always wanted to read Alan Moore‘s swamp thing run. I’ve always heard it was great. So I hunted down all six of his trade paperbacks. Before I read those I thought it would be cool to read the Wein Wrightson run. So I bought that trade paperback and I’ve started reading it. So far I’ve really enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would. I did not get the swamp thing omnibus which collects everything up to the Allenmore run run. my question is are the books in between worth reading. So that means issues 14 through 24 of the first series and one through 19 of the second series. is it still a fun read or is it just bad until Alan Moore.

Thanks! It fits my "low grade" standard, cover detached, tape, piece missing on back cover! BUT I do have some standards in it must be complete and its not... I could've had a 3.0 about 3 years ago if I would have looked through a dealers box of reprints! My buddy found it in that reprint box for $40. Wish I would have looked.

Newly added! I bought this as a Poor condition and it is and I was excited to read it but unfortunately it has a panel cutout that affects story...It wasn't in the description and the seller was generous with a partial refund. Could someone take a shot of the panel if you have time and your book is out?

I kinda thought the same thing after posting it Someone else could have a different opinion. A lot of people like Rick Remender. I did like the series, as I said a few times. 😁 Maybe we should trade and you can tell me if you agree?! I heard awhile back it got optioned for a TV show?

59-84 LOW 1-26 This was one of my favorite series for a very long time. I heard issue 26 was going to be the last issue and I hadn’t read anything past issue 20. So I went back and reread the entire series after issue 26 came out this week. The art and story up to issue 19 were really good. The art and story after issue 20 really let me down. As much as people think the art got better with the last six issues I thought that some of the panels were great but majority of it was OK at best compared to the first 19 issues. I had such high expectations of this book. There were multiple times when the main set of characters SHOULD have been dead! there is no way that they could stay alive but yet everyone miraculously lived minus one of the core characters. You got no answer or explanation as to how they lived. Two of the main characters were literally stabbed through their entire body but somehow lived, one character had so much radiation poisoning that her organs were starting to liquefy, yet she lives. The fact that there was no explanation given felt like really clunky writing and I felt cheated. This book is all about hope and optimism and so many bad terrible things happened in the entire book that you feel hopeless. Yet it remains somewhat optimistic because of the main character. I tend to like endings of books where it’s not always happy and I was hoping that this book might go in that direction. But I didn’t and that’s OK. I did like the series and it was a fun ride.
