321 Judo Joe 1 I found this "Gem" in a box in the back room of a LCS. It made me laugh. Im a big MMA fan so I had to get this along with a few other books. Needless to say I didn't pay for it but worth every penny! There is a Atomic Bomb panel and in a 4 page story he dresses as a woman to catch a purse snatcher! You do bring up a great point about the money and that they are 65 years old. But I still feel like since I collect EC as my focus I should get them when they are cheap, which Ive had luck with. I do buy the other titles and think they are all great! Ive gotten a few TFTC and 1 more on the way. Ill share when I get it. And thanks for your response!

I think you hit the nail on the head! The art is great but the stories are flat.

319 Mad 23 last comic issue I collect EC books but every time I read a Mad Im let down...maybe its my age...

Hey guys and gals! I got another EC! And its a Mad 23. And its in ghoulish shape! My favorite kind! But now Im going to say some blasphemy...Im not a fan of the Mad comics. I enjoyed the magazines from the 80s-90s (the 3-5 copies I had) Im 42 and and think most of the jokes are lost on me, I understand some but they just aren't my thing. Ive picked up a few on eBay because they were cheap and I collect ECs but I think I might just buy them and not read them.

318 Strange Tales 87 This concludes my Horror week! I love the SA Monster books! So campy and fun!

317 Marvel Tales 119 Fun book. Great Cover!

316 Batman 96 This was Ok...Very of the times. I say OK because I don't see how it moves the story forward. But I agree with this review.

315 Tales form the Crypt 39 This was a good read. I really enjoyed The Craving Grave story.

314 Tales form the Crypt 35 This has a Great Werewolf cover/story, a Vampire story, a Voodoo story and a Mummy story! Absolutely an awesome read!!

@KCOComics the tape throws me off as well. But I think a press will remove most of the water damage. If Im wrong about the water damage being removed please chine in. Ive only heard that it does.

There is water damage to the book. I think the waviness can be pressed out. but I don't know how to deal with the tear on the last page that has tape. Also the centerfold is attached but has a weird tear. Please help...

313 Venom 26 I bought this because Cates is on fire, its a 1st app of Virus, and it starts a new story arc. I really dont read marvel but Ive got the Thor books from cates (havent read need issue 3) and I might just start Venom as well.

303-309 This is going to be the first “Event” I collect in recent times. I think I might have done War Games, I know I read them but dont remember how. Anyway I really loving the setup so far! Detective was cool in the fact that Bats did so detective work and the action as fun. Nightwing is good but Ive heard since he got shot in the head its not been a good story, but I think I like how it working out. Tomorrow I start part 1 of Joker War!!! Nightwing 70-72 Detective Comics 1020-1023
