  1. 99 Joker one shot by John Carpenter!!! This did not disappoint! Its about the Joker but the story is told by his sidekick. It also leans toward mental illness as well. I really enjoyed the art too! So if you find one buy it! I think its great!
  2. 89-98 Justice League 30-39 Justice/Doom war I hate multiverses!!! But this was ok and I wasnt a fan of the ending.
  3. Also this is some things to keep in mind for your first con...and it depends on how many days. 1. there is a lot to take in so download the free C2E2 app. In that app you can make a list of people you want to see and where they are. Same thing with panel times which the app will send notifications an hour before time. 2. I don't buy the first thing I see!!!! I take a card and mark what aisle its in and come back later ( unless its limited or its a great deal). remember you don't want to spend all your money on the first day. 3. If you buy comics from dealers/artist its good to have a comic portfolio box (or 2 or 5 like me) which you can by at any LCS or from @HOTFLIPS at the show ( i recommend @HOTFLIPS ive bought from them while at the show and they beat the other dealers there). 4.bring a backpack with snacks and a refillable bottle!!!!! it also carries your comic boxes from @HOTFLIPS Also this is a PRO TIP... if you buy lunch in the cafe and by a fountain soda refills are free ALL DAY! 5.Grab a free program if you don't use the app. it has all the info you need. 6. Get there early! show starts at 10 so be there at 9...the line sucks especially on Saturday ( boooooooooooo on Saturday to many people, friday is the BEST DAY HANDS DOWN!!!!) 7.Have fun walk down very asile look at all the dorks people in cosplay. 8. stop by and see your cgc friends @MrBedrock @Dale Roberts @jadams @HOTFLIPS and say Hi! ( is this an ad for Hotflips?) SORRY IF I MISSED ANYONE!! these are the only people i know form the boards and they don't know me which is fine! 9.Pay attention to the weather the week of the show. Chicago can have great weather or bad weather this time of year. also coat check is very reasonable! If Ive missed something anyone can chime in or you can PM me and we can talk to and or meet up at the show.
  4. Its not hard! Most artist sign at their table, check the C2E2 site or app (i highly recommend the app) to find where they are. Then You can get a witness at the cgc booth. Then you walk to the artist and get it signed, then go back to the cgc booth with the witness and fill out your paperwork, pay, pick up the next day. Also dont forgot to have fun!

  11. 88 Frontline Combat 1...Finally!!! Ive missed 2-3 copies of this issue in the last year and found this on ebay last week sooooo I got it! The O.P. story was really good but the overall book wasn't the best. I also think this is the only GA book any of us (in this thread) has read yet...I think
  12. Finally! Frontline Combat 1 Just need 3, 10, 13...so PM me if you have a extra please... cross post about 2-3 other threads...
  13. Ladies and Gentleman, Boils and Ghouls!!!! Its been a loooong time since Ive bought a E.C. book! I normally stop buying from dec-feb/mar just to save for C2E2, But this one is a great and its an issue Ive missed in the last year twice. So without further adieu I present Frontline Combat 1!!!!! The seller on eBay gave it a grade of GD+ 2.5, detached centerfold but I think its a GD-1.8, there a a few 1"+ tears that where not listed but for the price I couldn't pass it up! I only need issues 3, 10, 13 so if you have an extra send me a PM...
  14. I really like the fact that we are all showing and giving a review of the books!!! It makes this more fun to me somehow.
  15. Hurry up!!! Im checking in between UFC bouts!!! Dont post anything during the Jon Jones fight around 11 CST 😁
  16. Yeah I felt the same way when I read the Batman "Year" Books. I know it NOT 100 Plus of the same but even the 15 or so I needed a brake.
  17. 78-87 God Hates Astronauts 1-10 It was a super fun read! Ryan Browne is a great guy and these were a blast to read.
  18. Ive herd this show is great for buying comics...are there a lot of comic book dealers? I DONT like entertainment geusts.
  19. This is a case of ME NOT choosing the correct words...sorry. I didnt mean anything by the “ Biased“ statement, VERY poor choice in words, And my intention was to be funny which did not come off how I thought it would. I guess ive just seen only marvel labels and walking dead labels and was wondering why there are no DC labels. And you guys are more than likely right that ethier DC and CGC hasnt come to an agreement. Oh if there isnt one there isnt one.
  20. I have to assume there would be a market for this?! Id love a Batman label! or any other of the Big 3... Does DC not want/like them? Is CGC biased against DC?
