    OK so the new trend is to buy low grade issues as opposed to high grade. Can't believe the Phantom #1 sold for around $100 and it was a SS book. Someone paid $55 to own this gem.

    I'd have been all over it too. Unfortunately I just browse thru the finished auctions to see how sales are going on the book. Insert kicking self in the butt smilie.

    A little less than a year ago the same book graded 9.8 not a SS book sold for $450. Its amazing how the market goes to such extremes.

    With good scans you could get at least $50 raw maybe even more. I'd set the price higher and add the OBO option like this.

    That sucks with the NM #87. Is there a way to check for color touch ups without having special equipment? Nice haul BTW.
