  1. The content barely fits the "JD" label but the cover art is amazing & totally in the genre. Plus the condition of this copy just set me back a step. It's square and glossy like it was on a rack new.
  2. Recent pick up - this is the 11th printing. The 1st in red is the best but I love the new gaudy gold banner and it is still under the first edition number... #798 and has the iconic cover art.
  3. I would think the Digest sized paperbacks should be a no-brainer as well.
  4. OK, here's some "JD".... I've looked for a better copy of Marijuana Girl for 30 years and i'm not convinced its out there...
  5. "Juvenile Delinquency" ... basically anything about youth gone haywire........ gangs... drugs.. fast cars/hot rods....hippie chicks... beatniks... music & art scenes... etc. etc.
  6. Ok, so i'm adding any jazz, blues, rock n roll titles i can get reasonably to add to my JD collection. They fit well in the collection, have a great feel and don't turn up too often in shape.
  7. One of the best Dell Sci-Fi covers, the Rogue Queen reminds me of Grace Jones a little (ok.. a lot!)
  8. I think she's just a snoopy old bat... to be gender incorrect lol!
  9. GGA doesn't get much better than Infidelity ... that lady out the window can't keep her snooping eyes off 'em
  10. In a far, far distant time, when the world was burning... Hard to find this rare book unread like this too...
  11. A top secret research facility hidden in the Colorado mountains is the last remaining outpost of the United States Army after its defeat by the PanAsians. The conquerors had absorbed the Soviets after being attacked by them and had then gone on to absorb India as well. The invaders are depicted as ruthless and cruel—for example, they crush an abortive rebellion by killing 150,000 American civilians as punishment. Noting that the invaders have allowed the free practice of religion (the better to pacify their slaves), the Americans set up a church of their own in order to build a resistance movement—the Sixth Column (as opposed to a traitorous fifth column). 0
  12. Another Avon classic - I dig the Hard Boiled blurb on this cover "I wanted to grab, rip and mangle the punk who did this to Dotty"
  13. A Robert Bloch Avon horror classic with a great photo cover that was also used on the comic Realistic Romances #1
  14. Sweet books all. I've been away a bit on other things but this thread needs some love... Some of these Jazz books are getting hard to find...
  15. Those circles remind me of some Dr. Strange dimensional restraints or ports!
