VF like new, Square, glossy and unread, bright and white with a perfect spine, tiny bindery nicks and light distributor stamps to corner. Pretty copy.
  2. Wild Town by Jim Thompson Signet 1461 PBO 1st Edition 1st Print 1957 $60 SOLD to goldust40 An iconic Maguire GGA cover and a Jim Thompson true 1st Edition. Probably the only decent copy on the web for less than $100. They've pretty much disappeared. VG plus/Fine minus Solid and square with a reader crease, spine and surface wear. Reader's creases are pretty much inevitable on this book.
  3. The Curtain Never Falls by Joey Adams Popular Library 285 1950 $20 Earle K. Bergey GGA cover art Fine/Fine Plus, solid and smooth with great color. Has some spine wrinkle from glue shrinkage. A nice looking copy.

Pretty nice copy other than some spine color chipping. VG Plus/Fine minus. Solid and square with nice color and gloss, minor creasing and wear.

Gonna lean into some GGA of all sorts today I think Honeyman by Mike Panos Holloway House FHH-158 1st Ed 1st Print 1968 $30 SOLD to jimjum12 Great GGA cover art of two B-Girl honeys in a Los Angeles bar. I never knew what a "B-Girl" was until I read some sleaze Fine Plus. Appears unread or lightly read. Solid square spine, pages supple. Light bends on front cover. Small stamp inside front cover and on page edge Inside covers lightly toned. A very attractive copy of a scarce Holloway House sleaze novel.

  11. Want to thank you guys again for some great takes. I'm having a busy week at work so not having as much time to prepare and list but enjoying the company twice as much . I'll keep listing each night through the weekend and see where it lands. I had over 100 books pulled so don't think I'm half way through yet . There's some more cool stuff coming up I'll do a re-cap tomorrow to get the whole thing cleaned up.
  12. Night Winds by Karl Edward Wagner Warner Books 89-597 1st Edition, 1st Printing August 1978 $60 SOLD to mstrange Tough high grade copy of this Frazetta Kane cover. Love the babe in hiding. Very Fine Minus/Very Fine, Solid, square and glossy, unread, almost no wear other than a touch along the spine edges. It's much more a Very Fine.

The first Frazetta cover on this Kane book, Fine Plus, Solid, square and glossy, has a light reader crease, some spine, surface and edgewear.

Tough to find Signets with no creases. Fine Plus/VF minus. Killer black spine. Covers bright and glossy, obviously unread. Has some pressure marks to covers but no creases, just edgewear. Light toning to interior. A tough copy of a cool 1st PB for sure.

Cover art by Jack Gaughan A beautiful book in many ways. Looks like it just came off the printing press. Super square and fresh with virtually no wear, only a couple tiny color flakes at extremities.
  16. The Variable Man and Other Stories by Philip K. Ace D-261 1957 $60 SOLD to goldust40 1st Edition of this collection of PKD stories. Contains "The Minority Report", one of many of his stories made into movies. Great Ed Emshwiller cover art. Sweet copy, VF minus/VF. Square, bright, glossy. Unread with no creases, just a chip to lower back spine and a touch of wear here and there.
  17. The Man Who Japed by Philip K. / Space-Born by E. C. Tubb, Ace Double D-193 December 1956 $80 SOLD to mstrange PBO/1st Edition of this Philip K. novel. These early PKD's are disappearing in high grade. One of the coolest Ace SF covers ever by Ed Emshwiller (Ed Valigursky cover on "Space Born") From the High Grade collection, a killer copy. A match to my keeper. Glossy, square and tight. No reader creases, only a few light finger bends, tiny color flecks. Pretty amazing in hand.

Heinlein Signet D1987 1st Print of the 1st PB November 1961 $20 SOLD to goldust40 Decent bargain copy of he scarcest Heinlein Signet. 1st print of the Hugo winning novel, considered one of Heinlein's best. VG/VG + Square and solid. Has some chipping to the top of front cover, spine ends and some creasing.

Jack Davis, Will Elder, Al Jaffee art Glossy Fine Plus/VF minus copy. Has a hairline spine crease, tiny chip at base, light crease to front cover that doesn't break color, otherwise glossy, square and new looking.

Near perfect Very Fine copy, one of the best I've found. Great color and gloss. No reader crease, slightest wear to the corners.
