That was odd. I finally caught up with the show last night, and wondered why that last name never dawned on Barry before now. My grandmother on my father's side died when I was 19. I'm 36 now and I still don't know her maiden name. I could ask my father I guess, but it's never come up in conversation. I see how it can happen.

The line about the maiden name made me yell "Oh mess!" so loud that my wife ran into the room thinking I had broken something . I missed the "old friend" line. I'll have to watch it again.

OMG, that author is spot on, esp. re. the need for a dark horror version of Swamp Thing & a light-hearted Aquaman. And he does not mince words. Witness the 2nd & third sentence: "They pulled (the Nolan) trilogy out of their and then had the unmitigated gall to release Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice afterward. That would be like Michelangelo painting the Sistine Chapel one week and then painting a giant on the side of a bus the next week. Sure, you think the is amusing, but it's not of the same caliber." The Nolan trilogy was just something pulled out of his versus a series of interesting movies? Batman Begins is a fantastic movie, as is The Dark Knight. The Dark Knight Rises felt a little like it reached too high at times. But it is still a very entertaining movie. I feel like people are pulling things out of their just to find something to hate on BvS about.

No way. Would they go with the very same characters from the CW show? Though it is tough to deviate when The Flash has a certain legend and lore to him. I'm hoping they won't use the same villains from the show. That way it would give us some variation and introduce some new characters.

Still one of the best scenes in comic book TV history. I was just scrolling back through this thread and saw this again. This is still my favorite scene from this show.

He was the one that posted his reaction to Man of Steel that could have gotten himself tackled or shot in a movie theater. You can't say he doesn't love his comic heroes. My buddy did something similar during Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. During the vine swinging scene he jumped up and yelled "THERE GOES MY F*****G CHILDHOOD!!!" and marched out of the theater!

if there was we won't find out for a while...I don't see Wells being that stupid not to have a trick up his sleeve. +1 I think Wells definitely has something up his sleeve.

I loved it when I saw it the first go-round. I saw it for the 2nd time today and I enjoyed it even more this time. I plan on catching it at least once more before it leaves theaters, probably in IMAX.
