  1. jharvey - as for the lenticulars, I think that would depend on what they used for materials. I have a bunch Sportsflicks cards from the 80s that are perfectly fine, just like the day I opened them.
  2. Wow...that video did not do Dinesh and favors lol. Looks to be posted in late September and here we are in 2018 now and nothing still. Valiant may be good with comics, but that's where the line is drawn. Maybe if Vin does sign on, they can get some other people to come on board that actually know how to make things materialize...or is Dinesh a control freak?
  3. I have no idea how Vin feels about Dinesh, but as for the money thing -- Vin could do something like ask for a decent percentage of the film's take, and cross his fingers that the movie does well. I'm not really even a Vin Diesel fan, but I can definitely see the guy going for the role. On another Valiant topic -- what ever happened to that trailer for the web series that we were supposed to see?
  4. Why would Vin Diesel be opposed to taking the part? He is a lifelong nerd. He digs comic movies. He also loves being the star of a movie. I'd bet my last slice of Velveeta (I don't actually eat that stuff) that he signs on. ...and like someone else already mentioned, why would anyone bring up Magnus #12? What does that book have to do with anything current Valiant? A whole bunch of nothing.
  5. Those R&M auctions are so obviously shilled...anyone who can't see this is either partaking in the shilling going on, or just willfully ignorant.
  6. This is the first one that I just didn't care about. Doesn't grab me at all, especially for that price. If it were a regular issue, I'd gladly pay $4 for it. I'll find it for cheap some day and all will be well in the universe then. Seems to me there were a lot better choices left on the table still than K2, but whatevers clever...
  7. So he can list his 9.8s along with the other zillions that will be listed if they ever amount to anything...sounds like a pretty weak plan.
  8. There's also some interior stuff in this fanzine and it is comic book sized...I don't see why it shouldn't count as his 2nd app and first cover app. Captain Marvel (and fam) already went from Fawcett to DC and then lost his own name, so abnormal stuff surrounding these characters shouldn't have to be overlooked.
  9. I'm still waiting for Adv 260 to get some well deserved respect. I honestly think the only reason that SC30 is more popular is due to the fact that comics have become an investment to many and slabbing is their means to higher profits...so the one with the prettier cover wins. Ugh.
  10. My brain wasn't turned on yet...I was thinking you guys were speaking about the Spidey 300 reprint chromium covered book.
  11. Ouch...I sold a 9.9 for a friend a while back and only grabbed 1k for it.
  12. ...the CGC forums have failed to deliver an answer. Never thought I'd see the day...
  13. We all know that Macross 1 is the first as far as North America is concerned, but I mean THE FIRST. What Japanese item contains the very first printed appearance of the Macross storyline/characters? The reference material that Svea used was one of these - http://www.ebay.com/itm/Super-Dimensional-Fortress-Macross-1-in-Japanese-in-1982-/162549882370?hash=item25d8ba5e02:g:AXsAAOSw1WJZMycD I have a copy of it as well, but was never able to nail down if that was the first printed source or if there existed anything previous.
