  6. not true, i contacted them directly about certain books before submitting ....... after talking to them i told them (and they said okay) included a 1-pager from google, widi, marvel fandom, anything stating the comic 1st appearance with the comic and also hand typed it on the form......... low and behold the labels stated what i told them i like to think i am responsible for Carnage 10 label - i wanted it to say 1st appearance of Raze soooooo bad cgc instead put xxxx becomes Raze ,, i was like huh? but okay
  7. dangggggg never heard of "9.8 subscription service' ...... ? might have to look into this........ usually I just pick my 9.8 personally when I go to the comic shop on NCBD Wednesday.. no problems.!!

  9. if you submit more comic books it will be CHEAPER ---- cost per comic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank me later
  10. yea I thought the same thing.. just got my books back last week from a month or so ago.. it was def in Graded status for a long long time... don't remember it being like that before but after that , when it goes to Grading/Quality Control that is little faster like 3-5 days then shipping.. just gotta wait out that 10-14 days in Graded status... good luck
  11. Usually buyers want a perfectly centered and placed comic book. Although that may be the only thing wrong with the comic book it would sway some buyers away since there are so many of other "better" centered comic books out there. Hope that makes sense..ttyl
  12. Good question -- I normally stick to WHITE pages for ALL 9.8 graded books I have, anything else is just an eye sore --- but for lower grade books specifically older books I was satisfied with OW/W page quality but have picked up some OW silver age books that I couldn't pass up due to the price point years and years ago! FFWD to today and glad I pulled that trigger -- just depends on the collector I guess but I did read an article that did a study on this question and it was prove that page quality DOES NOT matter as far as the sales price according to the study and the CGC census sales it recorded.
  13. Yea, I had this comic at one point in the past, got it graded and came back 9.4 -- sold it right away but that was years ago.... and I see now shockingly that comic has appreciated well during the years.... for any NM copy I would say! Congrats on that find!
  14. I do this ALL the time.. there's even a CGC submission form ESPECIALLY for reholder submissions. SAME GRADE - different slab case!
  15. Def not worth getting,, will not appreciate at all compared to getting one WITH a coupon. If it took you 6 months to save and get 500-600 to buy a Harbinger 1 without the coupon I suggest waiting 5-6 more months until you have a good $1000 and get a legit Harbinger 9.8 copy.
  16. HOLY SMOKES! The WD40 trick worked -- just received Preacher 1 in the mail from Comic Link and noticed the sticker in the back and tried rubbing alcohol as first but that did not make a dent in the sticky stuff, read your comments, and used some WD40 I had around the house and it worked like magic - fast and easy! Thanks -
  17. True - I am aware of such a sticker on new or used cars during purchase and remember specifically telling dealership to remove such sticker during there wash/clean service before I pull off the lot -- easy, but ComicLinkk does not offer such service of removing sticker after a phone call or any corrospondence -- so sad.
