Sent all five out today to get slabbed. Keeping my fingers crossed.

A few more picked up. Hope I can get a 9.6, But will be happy with a 9.4. Hope for a 9.4.

Picked up some great books today. A little dirty, but can be dry cleaned. super flat and crisp. Maybe a 9.0 - 9.2? Once again a little dirty, but can be dry cleaned. An 8.0 - 8.5, if pressed and cleaned maybe higher. Almost flawless for this old of a book. I would say a 9.4. Will send these out next year to get graded.

I just got my #386 cgc 9.4 not too long ago, and I paid well over $10k above 20k really. There is only one 9.6, and nine at 9.4. Hard as nails to find in high grade.

You didn't over pay, you got a great price on them.

I do the same thing with my books. The ones I really don't want to sell, I put a price that is high. That way if someone wanted it bad enough and is willing to pay my asking price I am ok with letting it go for that price. Nothing wrong in doing so. I can tell you he will get a offer and he will take it if the price is right. Awesome book. Thanks for sharing.

I think marvel books will pull back a bit, and there will be a focus on other books like DC, High grade Disney books, and others. But with the GOV spending going on, and inflation, who knows?

Now that is one rare duck! I would say it's worth more, how much more I really couldn't say. I wouldn't be surprised for double the price.

I agree, seems like the Higher graded barks books seems undervalued still. IMO. I do believe we will see a markup soon. I believe it might have more to do with you can't find anything else for a good price at the moment in High Grade. Now people are looking toward non Marvel books now. Which is great for us, as people will learn more about barks and how collective and undervalued his work is.

I'm going to try for a 8.5 or better run of bark books. Which will keep me busy for years to come. As of right now these two books set me back for while. So no new purchases for a bit. Of course money talks also, so if someone offers me an offer I can't refuse. LOL.
