Wow, wow, wow! What a great set you have there - congrats!

Can stop smiling at your post Toitle. So epic! Although I'm very green in the collecting of comics, I thing I have found very quickly is the lack of CGC SS signings outside of the US. Over here in Australia there's only one certification company I know of which is Halo Certifications. I don't even know yet if they'll be at the Armageddon Expo in October down in Melbourne when Kevin is due to be there on the 19th! It would certainly be a tough call to crack a #1 whilst he's down there and if Halo Certifications being present, especially if I had in my possession a 9.8 CGC graded 1st print. Because HC isn't as well known as CGC (or as prolific) then I'd probably even consider a holiday to the states for a SS signing and crack it there. As for the signatures, I'm digging down the side of the page to make them stand out more. Peter's sig is going to be a tough one to get; here's hoping they'll start collaborating again a bit more which would give us more opportunities to get both of their sigs at once

I did see that. I'm aiming for a 9.6/9.8 1st print but the one Kevin's offering is certainly a nice item to have too (as well as the additional time capsule). Saving all my pennies at the moment for other 1st prints on auction and even selling off some of my other collection, which is alcohol, to fuel my funds (no pun intended)

I'll be definitely keeping an eye on this one. Considering my starting point for a #1 at 9.6 but if I can reach for a 9.8, well ... I'll be one happy chappy!

That's awesome! I'll have to keep an eye out on his website for any other items he decides to auction. I've certainly missed the train on some of rare and unique items but can't wait to see what else is out there from Kevin (and maybe even Peter).

Thanks for the warm greeting! I'll definitely be keeping an eye on things here as well as the For Sale section. Oh how I'd have loved to be in the US in the past few months - plenty of cons going around! Unfortunately I live down under in good ol' Australia, so it'd cost me a fair penny to get over there which would be better spent towards a 1st print Definitely can appreciate Movie hype increasing demand, so it's probably not the best timing for me to get into collecting! :laugh: Thanks for the resources to check out too. Lots of reading and searching to be done!

Hi All, Just joined today and thought I'd drop in and say hi. Been a big fan of TMNT my entire life and grew up on the tv series (and spent about 90% of my pocket money on the arcade game, the other 10% on lollies ). I don't know why I hadn't looked into comic book collecting until now. I'm hoping to join the illustrious #1 club myself but am a complete noob at all of this. I understand the need for grading and such but haven't found places to check to purchase (apart from Ebay and here) so if people can point me in the right direction that'd be much appreciated! (Unfortunately my local stores only deal with new issues, no 2nd handys)
