  1. New Magnet Library no. 716 - "The Second Mr. Carstairs" by Nicholas Carter, 1911. A nice stark image on this early work of pulp fiction. 

    Some moisture wear over the years, cover loose, could easily be re-glued to the spine (beyond my purview).

    Free to the next person who buys any of the old "thick books" in this thread - just claim it!!     CLAIMED!         (see also bottom of Page 3)

  2. New Magnet Library no. 742 - "A Vain Sacrifice" by Nicholas Carter, 1910. 

    Browning interior and covers, old tape repair along spine and back cover. It would be difficult to read this without destroying it; its greatest utility lies in a cool old literary artifact propped up on your shelf on occasion, as it was mine...
