Fair/Good condition; water damage to book upper left; upper staple rusted, a few spine cracks, decent pages.

"The Last Doorbell" by the prolific Frank Gruber - a Chartered Mystery digest, 1946.

Creasing to covers, pages tanned but supple, water stains to text block upper right, moreso to the rear of the book.

Alger Series no. 138 - "Louis Chiswick's Mission" by Oliver Optic. A nice example of the popular bent of puritanical American juvenile literature. 

A nice example with minor wear and slight paper loss to spine.

Buffalo Bill Border Stories no. 68 - "Buffalo Bill's Redskin Stampede" by Col. Prentiss Ingraham, 1905.

Square binding, pages supple enough but tanned on the edges, some soiling to covers.

Tight enough book with some browning; cover loose (easily re-glued to spine)

New Magnet Library no. 716 - "The Second Mr. Carstairs" by Nicholas Carter, 1911. A nice stark image on this early work of pulp fiction. 

Some moisture wear over the years, cover loose, could easily be re-glued to the spine (beyond my purview).

Free to the next person who buys any of the old "thick books" in this thread - just claim it!!     CLAIMED!         (see also bottom of Page 3)

New Magnet Library no. 742 - "A Vain Sacrifice" by Nicholas Carter, 1910. 

Browning interior and covers, old tape repair along spine and back cover. It would be difficult to read this without destroying it; its greatest utility lies in a cool old literary artifact propped up on your shelf on occasion, as it was mine...

Solid book, as nice of page quality as you'll find on these early pulp "thick books." Small tape upper and lower spine and cover.

I know I have some more Marvel horror in my sale boxes, but they're more in the $7 to $10 range. Anything $5 or $6 I grabbed already. I definitely have some later Conan's (50-150, not BWS issues), but I'll have to look next time I go to my storage.
