Tsp99, now being face to face with an Archie-Psycho cross, isn't sure whether to bring flowers or a knife.
While an archie-psycho cross could describe me, depending on who you ask and on what day, Betty-Bates is actually a GA kick a** chick - lawyer by day, crime fighter by night (think Daredevil but with eyesight) She was the longest running lawyer in comics until DD and her 10-year-run still remains the longest run by a non-powered, non-supporting character. She is in Hit Comics #4-65.
... and tsp99 should most definitely bring flowers!

I think I read BettyBates is a female - is she the first woman to make it to the elite eight? I usually lose interest after the sweet 16 since I'm typically out.
I am a female (at least I was last time I looked down in the shower ) Been actively collecting for quite a while (mostly GA, Bizarro covers, and unintentional double entendre covers.) Far more active on Facebook comic groups than the boards but am very much enjoying my first grading competition! ♡

Ok... I will say it.. No way that ISIS is a 9.6 with the corner off! I had a feeling they were going to call it a defect... but... seriously?

If neither shark or tsp99 sticks their bids in... is it a double forfeit?

Wow, much more difficult this round! But, my grades are in :-)

Blowup the moon hasn't updated his spreadsheet to reflect the new brackets. We'll post Action Comic's score as soon as we can.

BREAKING NEWS... REVISED BRACKETS TO COME
(8) Action Comics DID turn in his grades against Ron C. for the Round of 128. He advances to the Round of 64 against (1) Betty-Bates.
(11) WEBHEAD is no longer going head-to-head with (1) Betty-Bates.
(11) WEBHEAD is now in a THREE-WAY with (5) MustEatBrains and (4) DeadOne
Revised Brackets to Come. Good luck everyone.
Wait! If I'm getting a new opponent, doesn't that mean I should get the opportunity to revisit/revise my grades? (kidding! Good luck Action Comics!)

How have the books been so far? Fun? No fun? Too easy? Too hard? Just right?
Would anyone complain if there's a CGC grade magazine in the next round? How about a CGC graded poster? My first grading contest and it has been addictively fun :-) - I am fine with books or magazines but would have no idea where to begin with posters.

Grades sent this a.m. Good luck all!

Can I use this rounds score (had a bye, but..) if I spoon up next round?

Here is my addition to the game giveaway. Here is an interesting one shot from the seventies done entirely by the great Neal Adams. It's definitely an oddball title that you don't see everyday. None of the panels have been colored. Definitely nothing you will see someone else donate! no NM98... but, you get oddball free stuff from an oddball first-time donator! ♡
