  1. While part of me is delighted that these are preserved for the future another part of me thinks that they are now gone. This is my own opinion, I love the feel and the smell of old comics (excuse me while I sneeze) you just can't beat the feeling.
  2. I'm sorry I asked now, it has made me rethink all those posts, let's hope knife means nothing and I'm not even going near fork!..
  3. What does "Spoon"" mean I've seen it all over the forum, yes sometimes it is good to be dumb.
  4. phew that's a relief as I bought two along with Lee Kirby Romita sketch comic Gil Kane Nodell infantino and a host of others, I even wrote to Steve Ditko he did not give an autograph but he did take the time to explain why in a note. I had the last laugh for he signed the return envelope tee hee..
  5. I did write to him once but he never answered instead I bought the Dynamic forces signed copy of Batman, let's hope that that is real.
  6. Thank you for the reply, I had thought the same about acetates but how would you know a genuine colour guide. I have seen them for sale and like everything else they push the "one of a kind" as bait. Some of them are quite nice so it would be nice to know for any future buys. Also what about printer proofs are they in the same league as the acetates.
  7. Where can I learn about the following topics, any help would be fantastic Are Colour guides and acetates classed as collectible pieces of art? I confess that I know nothing just like Hogan's heroes.
  8. I'm not an expert but there seems to be something off in the perspective of the characters. Hopefully I am wrong, however there could have been circumstances why they are off namely a quick sketch or even another artist. Good luck and welcome to the forum.
  9. Hi, has anyone ever seen the original artwork for the following covers and if you have could you post me a photo of each cover to drool over, thanks. They are Tomb of Dracula issue 48 and Amazing Spider-man annual number 1, any help would be fantastic. One more thing could you post them before they were coloured. .
