Firstly, @tv horror, Maurice, have you read this? If so, opinion please?
Secondlly, Do you reckon this cover is based on Peter Wyngarde? The man, not the woman,
It does look like him especially from his role in The Innocents and that even looks like Bly Manor in the background. As for reading it Bob no I never had that honour. It is a very Gothic cover though.thanks for posting. I did find this brief mention and while it does resemble Tomb of Ligeia I think that you are spot on with Peter as the model.
This cover for Dracula Began, a 1976 novel by Gail Kimberly, is stunning: you got Vincent Price from Tomb of Ligeia with misplaced eyes, big black bats, a Gothic castle, village people on the hunt, and a totally incongruous lady's head on a platter. Amazing. Artist George Ziel is a master of the vintage horror paperback cover!

Parrillo has been killing his Vampirella covers, as always. All of his stuff is just drool inducing. I can't keep up
I'm sure there's a double meaning there somewhere?

All I know is that if I were to use X-ray vision to spy on a woman washing I would be arrested.

Burst of Kryptonian Gamma rays from space could have Hulked him out, theoretically, and his suit could have been made by Reed Richardson of unstable molecules-
Yeah let's say that!

On a different note to me personally, Swan was the John Romita of Superman and created the look of all Supermen after much in the same way of Spider-man.

I think the Karloff (Pratt) family had Indian (the country) blood in them.
Oops I think that little secret is not often repeated Mike and is only a rumour.
