I've sold quite a bit on ebay over the last few months and haven't had any issues. I've only ever had a couple of issues total with ebay. Once as a buyer and once as a seller, they were minor. I know bad experiences happen every day on ebay, so I guess I've just been fortunate. With more volume would come more likely interaction with the dinglebutts of the world.

One run I do want to work on is that Hulk set. I think it's incredibly underrated, has some gorgeous art and covers, and it's just cool.

Ha, I am constantly battling my wife over the size of my collection. And I only have 18 or so short boxes! I'm going to continue buying mags, and comics!, and we are hopefully moving into a larger space this year so i might have more room.

oh but he is. Just add this to the list of reasons to never buy from him. It's kind of sad.

I'm heading off the problem before it becomes one. I don't have an entire closet for my comics, but do have an ikea cabinet to organize the collection into and it's spilling over I don't plan to work on full runs of the mags, so decided to go ahead and sell on the ones I'm ok parting with. I want to keep my entire magazine collection small enough to fit into one short box.

not a huge hit, but pretty sweet. I got this from a $30 horror themed mystery box from the SellMyComics guys. I got two Spawn issues that I sold for more than I paid for the box and a stack of other cool bronze horror stuff. I've only ever bought two mystery boxes. I got a She-Hulk #1 out of the other one.

I've had good experiences with Mycomicshop and while I don't buy many moderns anymore, their pre-ordering set up is nice. I've had good experiences buying from Bob both online and at shows. I buy almost all my comics here on the boards, though. I've bought tons from Dale Roberts but never via his website, always on the forums or now and again via an ebay auction. Pretty much the sellers who have good reputations here on the boards all have them for very good reason. And the ones who don't have good reputations (YOU KNOW WHO) have lost theirs for very good reason.

How much more accessible do you want comic book collecting to be? Look at how easily a hoard of comics can be assembled just via sale threads on this forum? Collecting is perfectly accessible. Besides, this isn't collecting. It's 100% investing and it's dumb. It's an incredibly dumb idea. Have at it, if you want but its a nonsense way to collect and a perfect way to lose a bunch of money.

Don't forget the simple truth that in the end there is only one chair.
