  1. Well you said grader's notes indicated a rip on the back cover. doesn't take a very big rip to bring an otherwise nice comic way down. And the front of the #32 looks pretty nice! Can't really zoom in much, but I'm not sure what you are worried about,
  2. Did you personally grade the book before you sent it in, or did you rely on a 3rd party's grading and just let 'er rip at CGC? Sounds like it, as you didn't seem to be aware of the rip in the #15. Or you did, still thought the #32 was a 9.0 and you are just not good at grading? Or maybe you just got lucky! Can you link some scans of the book?
  3. This copy sold for $221. I think the poor photos made it look less attractive than it might actually be. The close up photos of each corner didn't look that bad at all and the back looked clean. This might have been a bit of a steal. I almost gave it a shot. Same seller had a decent looking #2 also with poor photos that I just forgot to bid on that sold for a whole $33. Sat here and got to watching baseball and forgot all about it.
  4. I just liked the cover. I won't even read it. Put THAT in your pipe and smoke it!
  5. Yes that’s fine. One copy of each cover per customer. I can’t agree with limiting customers to one OR the other on a cover price, non exclusive. This is midtown comics, they still had dozens of each behind the counter at 11 pm.
  6. Yep. I dunno. I didn’t want cover B, so it didn’t impact my buying at all. *shrug*
  7. No, I don’t have a sub there. I do go somewhat regularly. I wasn’t looking for the book to flip, and even if someone is that’s why they limit to one per. Which is Totally fine. But I’ve never seen them not allow people to buy one of each A and B cover.
  8. Went down to midtown comics Times Square tonight and they had both over A and B behind the counter, and were only allowing customers to choose one copy of ONE OR THE OTHER. i don’t mind the 1 per customer limit they throw out once in a while, but I feel like not allowing me to buy a set of both covers is going a little far. got a nice copy of cover A. Looked at about two dozen copies and all but the one I pulled had multiple color breaking spine dings. Unsurprisingly as I’m sure they’ve been gone through all day by grubby hands
  9. Thanks. That’s all I asked for! I doubt this will have any impact at all on CGCs fortunes. They might want to step up their 3rd party vendor quality control though
  10. I really like the color scheme on that #2 for some reason
  11. wait are we still able to participate if we help?
  12. I asked to see a picture of the signage in full with this image of the Hulk #1 on it. No need to get testy
  13. I'm willing to help out but probably can't, and shouldn't be left to without adult supervision, handle it all myself. I certainly have the free time to do so.
  14. Where is the full image of the whole banner? That's clearly a backing board behind the Hulk #1. Calling nonsense on the post claiming this image was used by CGC in its advertising at the show.
  15. I am A guy can dream, right? Well?! CAN'T HE?!?!
  16. This is at the top of my Skywald list for now. Want a nice copy badly
  17. I’m used to five or six in the room at Dragon Con. More money for the dealer hall, the better!
  18. Well I'm always down for splitting hotel costs for a weekend. Or sleeping at the train station. In Baltimore. I'm sure it's fine.
