  1. Hi all, I've got a small stack of Shell-Head comics for a buck a piece. A buck! mmm good First in the thread trumps all other talks Paypal only Shipping is $5 for the first comic and .50 for each additional. If you have a big enough stack I'll just put them in the appropriate priority usps box. No probies, hosers or meanies I have a second thread in the copper/modern forum with more Iron Man goodness so check it out, thanks!
  2. very easy to deal with and had a smooth transaction. Would definitely sell to again, or buy from in the future! Thanks again
  3. Had a really smooth sale with Ryan. He paid quick and I'd 100% deal with him again, thanks!
  4. created a comic collecting and selling account. I think I followed everyone listed in this thread so far. I'm nostalgiacomicsandtoys
  5. nice! thanks for the story and your comment. Looks like you are almost done without even realizing! I'll get there eventually. I have to reaaaaaalllly work on focusing my attention on fewer directions, but I don't beat myself up too much about going off on collecting tangents. I do wish I had started this 10 or 15 years earlier, but what can ya do? I'm starting to think I may not need/want to downsize my x-men and amazing spidey runs to accomplish my current goal. I may still do so as they do take up quite a bit of space but if I can keep moving other comics I don't want then I won't need to worry so much about it. And ya @STORMSHADOW_80 , its a great collection. Not full of too many big keys (it does have 1st app of Blade, Gamora, early Vulture appearance, Spider-Woman, Furry Beast, a couple Ms Marvel #1s, a pile of Spider-Woman #1s lul, and a number of other minor keys and nice books like a mid grade Namor #1, low grade spidey 121, etc). There is a run of about 90 issues of Incredible Hulk from 104 to 223 (no wolvie keys, of course ) and a nice run of Tales to Astonish before that, a run of high grade marvel treasury editions 1 to 15 (only missing #12), a bunch of issues of FOOM in high grade, just lots of great stuff. Most of it is mid to low high grade. About 1100 books total. So ya, gimme that! Can't wait to get it all and start reading
  6. take 10% off either lot. one time discount then trying craigslist. if that don't work, I guess I'll read the damn things
  7. Isn't it graded again from scratch after a signing, though? Anyway, lint is not spine tics. Hopefully a reholder without all the weird lint inside will do the trick.

  11. Hi all, Going to list a few larger lots of books. Mostly recent modern back issues to make room for other comics I buy that I'll probably also eventually sell in large lots. The wheel turns and turns. First in the thread trumps all other negotiations. Shipping will be your choice (no media mail). I'll box em up get em weighed and you can decide how much you wanna spend. Sorry no international shipping for these Paypal only for payment. No hosers, probies, or poopooheads No returns on these lots unless I sent you the wrong books. My kudos thread: I'm also speedcake on ebay, if you wanna check my feedback there.
  12. Ok so we would still pay return shipping. Assumed so, at least it's some savings having it done on site. When you submit at a convention normally, do you only pay return shipping then as well? I assumed this was the case. Maybe these are silly as hell questions.
  13. How does this work as far as the actual encapsulation process? Do they pop it in a slab right there at the con, too?
  14. Are we collection shaming now? :P Is the one box method where you fill one box and then go buy another box and fill that one up then go buy another box? It should be.
  15. Well I'm in no hurry to buy a Stan sig, so let everyone make fools of themselves. If I ever do buy one, I want it to be a book Stan Lee actually worked on, a the very least. It doesn't have to be a key, just a nice copy and a nice looking sig thanks.
  16. I can start at the bottom of a page and scroll up and after one and a half books in a post know it's a Greggy post. Sometimes I get it after only one book.
  17. Very sad to hear, but he led a full and pretty dang amazing life. I'll forever be thankful and grateful for what he gave to us. RIP Stan, you legend.
  18. If anyone here personally knows OrangeCrush and can either contact him or put me in contact with him, I'd appreciate it. I'm selling my Lucio Parrillo collection and I know he's a super fan. He got me into Parrillo, actually. I'd rather this stuff go to a boardie than randos on feebay if at all possible. If not, thanks for looking anyway! I believe he is travelling for work and doesn't check in on the boards as he isn't responding to my PMs. If this isn't an appropriate thread topic, delete away. My bad.
  19. If anyone knows @OrangeCrush personally and can contact him, or put me in contact with him I'd appreciate it. He's a big Parrillo collector and might be interested in some of these, but I think he's on the road working and isn't responding to my PMs
  20. Well hopefully you can rebuild in the future.
