I've only ever committed to being a completist for UXM. I inch closer all the time to finally finishing that, but when it comes to everything else I'm not sure I could handle it. I'm too easily distracted and like too many different things.

Try here
I am only about 20 books away from achieving the same goal
Pm me if you want help with variants.
Heyyyy thanks for this. Am also on this journey so always looking for more resources to help.
I own a few variants, but only like two that I've spent more than cover price or cover price plus a couple bucks on. I don't go out of my way to buy them, normally, I do plan to pick up UXM variants as I complete my run. -
Holy smokes just google mapped it.

I want that X-23 cover. Guess I'll have to send my mom on a hunting trip in Florida for me

Thanks for the reply. I think I'd like to get it pressed and submitted, but as I've never done it before I've got some board reading and googling to do. Might have to spring for a cgc membership upgrade, too.

PGM NYX #3
Hi all! Let me know what you think. I don't have a scanner, unfortunately.
So I made up for it hopefully with enough pics to get a decent idea of the grade. Thanks in advance. This is the copy from my pull list when the book came out. I'll probably part with it if it isn't worth slabbing as I want a slabbed copy.
There is a very minor wrinkle on the top left FC that I can't get to show in pics, but shows when you hit it correctly with the light. It would need to be pressed out, I think. That's the only flaw not shown in the pics.

OK LAST BOOKS of the thread, not variants, not Hughes WW. The one exceptions
Annihilation Conquest: Nova 6 NM or higher $7 each or both for $12
Lets be honest, you're in the mood for this Gamora cover. (waves are on bag)
I'll take the other for $7

Just say no to doubling up on comics per bag and board. I like my books to be snug sure, and maybe I treat my cheap-0 books way too nicely by bagging and boarding them as well, but seems like double stuffing bags is just asking for trouble

Glad to hear this worked out for you. This book is one I'll be chasing for a long time as I try to complete my Uncanny run, and reading the whole thread gave ME anxiety. Can't imagine what you were going through dealing with a shoddy seller. Good luck finding a nice copy of X-men #1 !

Hi all. My name is Charlie and this is the second time I'm writing one of these. Since I only made like 8 posts the first go around and haven't been on the boards in forever I figure it'd be ok to do it again.
I've been reading comics since the late 80s and immediately latched on to the X-Men as my favorites. Iron Man has always been a close second. I may or may not have teared up when I watched the first X-Men film in the theater. It's been a lifelong goal of mine to complete a run of Uncanny vol. 1, and I'm down to the last 120 issues or so (or the first 120 issues or so? huzzah). I'll get there one day. I've been in and out of collecting over the years, still don't own a CGC book and plan to rectify that as soon as possible, and I liked the Deadpool movie way more than I thought I would and certainly way more than I like the comic book character (I don't like the comic book character. At all). I also don't know whether or not the period goes inside or outside the parenthesis if it is at the end of a sentence.
I now live in NYC, so maybe there are some boardies in these parts to talk to. I really enjoy going to small comic book shows and super mega pop culture extravaganzas alike. I also really enjoy digging through garage sales and flea markets, but haven't really found a good way to do this or where is best to go since moving here. As for my collecting goals, hopes, and dreams other than my Uncanny quest, I don't really have any. I'm interested in collecting keys from the Silver age and up, and avoiding my collecting habit getting too out of hand, so...good luck to me with that
And after browsing a couple pages in this thread, I see that almost no one writes this much so thanks for reading and see you all around the boards!

Hello. Brand new noobie noob here. Just recently found this forum, and it didn't take long to figure out it's the spot to be.
I got into comics in the late 80s, with anything X-Men and Iron Man being instant favorites of mine. I've been in and out of collecting ever since then.
One project that I HAVE worked somewhat consistently on ever since I got my first issue of Uncanny as a kid is to own a complete run of volume 1. Maybe I'll do a journal on that quest. I've also decided recently to start the same project on Amazing Spider-Man and Iron Man.
I've never purchased a CGC, or any other professionally graded, comic. I think maybe I'd like to, though.
Thanks for reading!
