man, so much lovely ghoulishness. can original art from these be found? The interior art is re-working of pre-code horror stories, not straight re-prints right?

Add me to the list of those who really enjoyed this. A breath of fresh air for the MCU and really hoping it opens the doors to similar content but only if creators are allowed to take chances/have control and actually entertain us. More Marvel Monsters please! -
Are prices still climbing or have they eased up a bit???
speedcake replied to InfantTerrible's topic in Comics General
For considerably much more minor keys than IH 181, seems like prices for many of them are not just leveling but falling? For example I'm looking at a Tales of Suspense #52 cgc 4.0 currently listed on the boards right now and was surprised when I checked GPA on it. pretty much a free fall, as the last couple of sales are near 2019 prices, less than half what the book was selling for in the same grade last year. It is just one example, but its a pretty "hot" key and a nice book in any silver age collection normally but got a huge bump during the covid madness and due to the film. -
Which Silver do you mean? Apart from the bigger keys, and depending on your condition tolerance level, silver is plenty affordable. Even most keys in low grade, other than the mega keys, are very attainable.

Don't buy what you don't really like. Easy game, easy life.

Hey all, anyone have recommendations for decent comic book shops around Tampa? I’d be looking for Silver and Bronze Age stuff, but also taking my 13 year old niece looking for modern stuff. when I lived here it was really only demolition comics, and I don’t remember them having older books too often.

Real good for the $13 I paid for it

Yep. Got a discount off the sticker price for paying cash, but the guy was pretty set on his pricing. They are all quite nice copies so I think I did pretty well
