Dark Horse is the big winner. Briggs Land ( AMC TV show ? ) and Black Hammer are rocking the secondary market. Especially when taking into account the initial cost of each. Hoping that Black Hammer is ongoing. It grabbed me in the same way Invincible did the first time I read it. Black Mask are masters of marketing. They are far from being the next Image. Monstress as a title has almost as many completed sales as the entire Black Mask line on ebay. Take out variants and Monstress wins. Thats 1 Image title vs an entire line. BM is more comparable to Enormous on certain titles. Small audiences with even smaller print runs. The marketing is exceptional. Take a book that say 100-150 people might want, make 66 copies, and voila. Short printed books that bring money and get all of our favorite spec sites and bloggers noticing. Its brilliant and I hope it works for them. Rebirth Foil covers ROCK IDW has a couple of sleepers on hand with Rom and Archangel foil. I'm not certain how big their audiences are but the print runs are small and Rom is being integrated into his 2nd very popular universe. that should stand out to people. The Marvel Cho variants are pretty cool. The only concern here is that there are a LOT of CWII variants. If CWII has a big cover, it will be these or the Noto's imo. Other Marvel stuff was just okay. Image nailed it for Negan fans (I'm not one of them) and prices are good for Horizon, which I haven't read yet, and Snotgirl, which I jumped off the bandwagon as of issue #1. You'd be better off putting any money you had set aside for Snotgirl and buy something like Monstress #1 with it imo. I'm sure I missed lots of stuff but these were all of the books I watched since Wednesday. Can someone with the rebirth foils in hand, confirm the condition of these books. I was told by a pretty reliable source that the print run on these was terrible and HQ is going to be very difficult with these?

wow wish I hadn't started this , How does every talk about print run, even the hypothetical guess ones blow up? Update.. I asked.. and the two stores had a total of 800 books come in. One had 250 of each cover, the other 150 . So yes I guess it was an exaggeration saying 1k books, but still looked like a mountain of books next to the 25 or so of the other covers that had come in. I am not talking negatively about this book, as I said, I have around 50 of each book and think this book has fantastic long term chances

I'll take 250 K. If its 100k I saw very close to 1% of the run in two stores

That news broke yesterday and no major Marvel death since Mar-Vell is permanent. Even Namor who was decapitated is coming back. Buy a bunch tomorrow and sell them within the next week or so Yup thats exactly what I was thinking, should be huge news with those that haven't heard . no matter what DC says..i'm not buying that it's Kong in BS 32....logic doesn't add up. The preview of New Superman has him as a teen bully with no powers yet it was stated that the Superman that flew off in BS 32 had never left the lab. I think something happens and he gets that Superman's powers. Similar to how Lois gets Superman 52s powers. Lot of slabbed books out there say differently, not that that means much. DC did come out and say its him too, right? but interesting idea

OHOH pre-sellers not going to like this Shipping Schedule Fulfillment of Amazing Spider-Man vol 4 #15 featuring MJ 'Iron Jane' will begin next Friday (July 15). The shipment of exclusives did not leave the supplier's warehouse on the expected date. As a result, fulfillment of ASM #15 orders has been delayed by a week.

4,5,6 gone in the three stores I visited yesterday in Los Angeles.

Why are people buying this for so much? First appearance of a new character that is getting his own title this fall. Also, low print run (for a Marvel title), last documented print run was 25,000. I see that people are baying that it contains the death of Lockjaw as well, that seems ridiculous from what I see. Damn, hes a teleporter people......
