I knew the first time when I bought a FF 5 that I was now making money

I feel like I'm 80
You're only 79, Nik. 33 (soon to be 34).

I just got tired of seeing Petey's name up there for the last several months
BOO!!!
ARGHH!
Don't you realize I'm NEVER giving you the last word?

I don't understand why everyone is posting what is on ebay on this board.
If I wanted to know what was on ebay I would go look.
This board should be used for private for what is wanted and what is being sold privately.
And . . . once we even get to know you, we may choose to sell something to you privately
Are you guys kidding me? I use the Marketplace to see which auctions I should avoid! JK
I think it was a very legitimate question that was answered beautifully.

Hey, I've got some! Where's the "jumping up and down waving my arms from the back of the classroom" graemlin?
How does he grade though?

Thanks Nikos61 for a Tales of Suspense 49 (gawd, what a stupid story, but it was nice to see the Angel ) and Drummy for FF 41! Now I need a nice 42 and 43.

"The Comic-Keys way"
no thanks!
Do I personally think it's a 5.0? No. I think it's a 5.5. Mid-grade comics can start to have any kind of defects, some more appealing than others. I think the accumulation of defects make it a 5.5, but none of the defects really detract from the eye appeal.
What does pressing have to do with Comic Keys? I was suggesting the "Jason Ewert Way."
I have the scan on file now. Press away.
Damn you and the scans!

oh, I thought that was a trimming machine. Have a bend? Cut it off.

Scott, I think I can see where the bend is now. It's just below the top of the book. To really see it, you have to tilt the book and look at it from the angle. I don't care though.

Oh, we're supposed to grade it?

Here's the last of them. (Until I scan some more)
Thanks Jeffro, you`ve certainly breathed some life back into this thread. Great books and great scans! What model scanner do you use?
It's an HP Scanjet 3400C. I picked it up 2-3 years ago at Office Depot for $50 if I remember correctly. I don't think HP makes this model anymore.
I use the same scanner, too.

Didn't Storm also lift the Hammer in an Xmen annual? (10?)
I think it was 8.

I was thinking of bidding on some of those 9.0 and 9.2's.
I need some READER COPIES.
(if you were trying to be funny...)

BIG Kudos to Beaumonts on a recent Ebay transaction, Nuke and I do mean Nuke proof packaging. It took me 20 minutes to unwrap the book.
Kudos to the same person for my most excellent Fantastic Four 32. Thanks!

I didn't do it - it was done to my FF 5. My friend's cocker spaniel took a dump on it.
If it had been my book, the dog would be just a standard "spaniel" when I was finished with it.
That is so demented, I don't know where to start.
