UPDATED: My Nominee for the "First Great Comic Collector"
Hap Hazard replied to sfcityduck's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
I always considered Ray Storch to be the Jedi Master of Esoteric /Oddball comics, All the stuff I love to collect. I first discovered him selling at Bruce's Shrine Shows in LA in the 90's and later at Terry's shows. Bought great books from him and learned a lot about more obscure non-super hero books and titles. He will be missed. -
It would be Criminal not to show your CRIME comics!
Hap Hazard replied to Robot Man's topic in Golden Age Comic Books
I traded a nice looking 7.0 of this book recently and when I saw this low grade beauty I had to have it! I used to think buying back books that you had sold or traded was strange, I guess not anymore! -

Where are the Mad Magazine collectors?
Hap Hazard replied to Doohickamabob's topic in Comic Magazines
Recent pick ups for all things MAD: I now have two items from MAD Jewelry the Scatter Pin and the Cuff Links. And straight from England is the Best of Mad bound annual from the early 60's, says six issues came with five. Anyone have a issue to compare? -
