  1. I completely agree. It was a great first issue that left me wanting more!
  2. Yep, I read that he is really trying to get this up on the screen.
  3. Just read it last night and I'm in total agreement with you. I really like the slower, but not too slow, start. A lot of newer books come right out swinging for the fence and fizzle out by book 2 or 3. So far, I'm into it.
  4. I didn't say anything about Babyteeth being an Image book. The fact that another title by Cates may be drawing some extra attention away from Redneck is all that I was saying. Just because it's not Image doesn't mean it couldn't do so.
  5. Kinda crazy because issue 2 isn't even out yet. Could it have anything to do with all the hype about Babyteeth?
  6. Sure does depend on the collector. Collectors may try to collect cover artists work no matter what it is, but from what I've witnessed these store variants have lead people away from certain titles.
  7. There have been a ton of store exclusives and definitely some cool ones, but I think they are really starting to steer collectors away from books. IMO
  8. Nice! I'm glad he didn't sign mine. This would look pretty sweet in a yellow label, but... I'm not expecting this book to be a really big hit. I liked it so far. I'm in favor of more promising weirdness, but I actually just really liked this cover. It's my favorite so far. And the small print run helps!
  9. The Fix is still one of the best titles out there. Fun as hell!
  10. Defiance is really good. If you haven't checked out Dead Orbit, do it!
  11. GC and Redneck have been good reads so far. I remember having and reading the first issue of Harrow County, but at the time it just didn't grab me. Maybe I'll have to give a trade or two a try. Thanks!
  12. Lately, people love every new book for at least a couple weeks
  13. Regression by Cullen Bunn Anyone picking this book up? I really enjoyed the first issue. Definitely left me wanting to know more.
