Common first submission problem. It will take longer the next time you submit

I just found 3 of these in a $2 box at Wizard World Pittsburgh. Didn't even know it was heating up, just figured Deadpool + Gwen = more than $2

Certainly looks like Captain Hook on the top right and Smee (I think that was his name) below him.

As a fellow UXM collector, that 135 makes me all kinds of envious.

I bet you don't even need to wait until 5pm EST to give up hope. Any books that are going to be shipped that day are probably going to be out before 11am

I've got my second off for a quick press and grading as well. Does not look nearly as good as your copy though. Good luck with the grade!

I've been cheating and posting sporadically without introducing here..... so I've finally decided to do one of these! I first got hooked on comics when I walked into my LCS at the time, Atomic Comics in Mesa and picked up UXM 248. Jim Lees art won me over and I have been collecting UXM since that day. Made the jump to Image with those guys when they left Marvel, and later to Valiant. When the crash happened I slowed down and didn't buy as much, since it was much more cost effective to wait a few months and pull books out of the $1 or less bins. And let's face it, there wasn't a whole lot during this period that was worth reading anyway. Stayed sporadic until 2006 or so, when I started buying new issues again. I ended up getting interested in collecting vintage pens and my buying dropped off again. Then, as fate would have it, I went with my friend mid last year to pick up his books from his pull list and I decided to check out a few new books. For all the negative comments on this Secret Wars line, it actually hooked me and is the reason I'm buying so many books monthly now. Jump ahead a few months and I'm not getting 30+ new books a month, as well as filling in huge chunks of my assorted X books. I even managed to fill in 98-248 on UXM in about 2 months. It was also around this time that I started sending off books to CGC. The increased price on sales is nice, but honestly I just like having books in those cases. Sure, mylites + fullbacks are probably adequate storage for books, but there is just something really cool about having my favorite books in the CGC cases.

Still kind of patiently waiting on my first submission, I knew it would take a long time to get books back, but even knowing does not prepare you. MST - Invoice date - 4/21, still sitting in QC for over a week now. I think for my next submission, I'm going to try to forget that I even sent books in. Maybe I need to flip a large number of books so I can justify the MFT cost.

Holy crud! Those look like they are in high grade too. Any chance of you revealing what you paid (I understand if you don't, just curious)

Got these two back earlier this week. Still waiting on my first ever sub sent in on April, but these were part of the coupon submission. (Other two were BA 12 at a 9.4 and Fear 19 at a 7.0. I stupidly forgot to take a picture before a buddy of mine scooped them up.) I had the NM98 at a 9.4 and the IM55 at a 6-6.5 so I'm real happy.
