  1. I know it been awhile but thought I’d ask a general question out there. Do you use the website to get info about MJI inserts? My website and domain is becoming due and wondering if the money I spend a year is worth it. I spent a considerable amount of time collecting these issues and figuring it out but if not many are using the info then why am I wasting the money? Kinda on the fence. Hope all is well with the long timers, Jim
  2. Nah. The grain of the printing is consistent over all the places he said there was color touch. It isn’t there over the whole cover. Don’t know what he was talking about but there is is no color touch on this book. I looked pretty closely. Jim
  3. Thanks Mr Ryan...I really never thought about this way before. Was so pissed initially because I never had to do a refund that I was incensed. But after listening to you all I’m OK with it. Jim
  4. Hey guys, got the comic back yesterday, It’s the same comic I sent and he packed it very well. Took a very through look at it with a magnifying glass and bright light. There is no color touch where he said there is (nor on the whole front cover). Gave him a refund regardless. Will probably relist it again. The whole thing has been a pain though. Jim
  5. Maybe...but I bought it from a pretty respectable seller if I remember right. And looking at the comic I never thought color touch. Nor saw any indication it happened. This is wildly_fanciful_statement. On another angle, how are you Beyonder? Long time no talk. Jim
  6. I do not like being wronged.
  7. Ok...I don’t like it. Don’t like that someone can dictate their sale if they don’t like their own error. And really don’t like them accusing me of something I never did. Especially something I really don’t like. This is kind of personal with me. I never thought someone would of accused of me of this and now it has happened, regardless of they being wrong. I really want to fight this until I’m forced to accept it. Jim
  8. This is the comic I sold with front and back covers.
  9. The guy has 5 reviews. Jim
  10. OK guys I have an issue with a recent eBay auction that I would like your opinions/advice. I sold a raw Eternals #1 30 cent variant that I bought on this website about a decade ago for, if I remember right, $30. Put it in my box and hadn’t seen the light of day until I saw how much they were selling on eBay recently. Put it up on the site and it sold for a premium about a month ago. Now a month later the buyer is claiming to eBay he bought a black light and the comic has color touch. He wants his money back. Who color touches a $30 comic? And also I have photos of the inside front cover that shows no color touch bleed through. eBay never contacted me about this, my wife noticed it, and they automatically ruled in his favor. This is so wrong. And if you know me, I abhor restoration. What are my options? Jim
  11. Yep. Also #102 will not have the insert since it's squarebound issue. Jim
  12. They started in April 1971. #101 should have the insert. Jim
  13. The circle star is common. They didn’t press hard enough.
  14. Today I'm offering: Green Lantern #87 CGC 9.2 1st John Stewart/2nd Guy Gardner Pacific Coast Pedigree Asking $1500 Firm Shipping will be $15 (I'll handle the rest) Thanks for looking. Jim
  15. Any traction Gold Keys had for value in the market crashed when the Random House multiple Issue high grade collection was sold. Before HG GKs had some traction due to their scarcity. After the collection was sold they became common. Jim
  16. No. The reason Gold Key stopped the inserts is due to having them advertising n the comics. Jim
  17. RIP Bob. Never met him but really enjoyed his views on comics. Jim
  18. I just canceled the request. Weird. Jim
  19. Yea. It was this year. Strange.
  20. It has nothing to do with the lot I just sold. It was on PayPal when checked it. The name is awful familiar though. Think he was one of my buyers from when I sold a number of comics I bought two years ago. Jim
  21. I haven’t sold anything in two years or used PayPal. Jim
