  1. Probably the bottom edge too. There's seven wraps around Thor's leg in the PGX "9.6", there are eight in the copy I'm using as a reference from the Reece's website:
  2. I'd wager good dollars that the right edge is trimmed. Look at the box around Sub-Mariner, then compare it to a legit blue or yellow label CGC copy.
  3. Well on the bright side, he's probably winning the overall box office duel with his brother. And he seems to have a nice family, whereas Liam is married to a hooker.
  4. MCP 72-84 vs. “Thanks for the adamantium guys, toodles! Oh hey, do you validate parking?”
  5. Your first mistake was liking Origins: Wolverine. That movie is atrocious.
  6. You mean IHOb. Watch out world, here come the X-Meu!!!
  7. Have you seen Chuck and Shaq at halftime? They’re better entertainment than a lot of the chit Hollywood releases. Saying they’d out earn Dark Phoenix is like calling the sky blue.
  8. But...is it beating out Kazaam??? Kidding aside, I’m pretty sure a big screen viewing of Shaq, Charles, EJ, and Greg Anthony doing a halftime breakdown of 76ers/Raptors would out earn Dark Phoenix.
  9. Sounds like a pretty cool premise, no wonder Kinberg tossed it aside. Another homerun for Simon!
  10. Is Kinberg on dope? Dark Phoenix was supposed to be his “Endgame”? With a cast had been together in full for, what, one film prior to Dark Phoenix? And about a half dozen timelines across the X-Men movies? Compared to the MCU that had been building for about 10 years, with everything building toward a common finale. Yeah, good plan.
  11. What's funny is she could have actually had a valid point since I believe this is the first Men in Black with a female in a lead role and part of the [insert the Men in Black's governing body's name here, its Friday, I'm not looking it up, sue me]. So an argument could be made that a tweak was in order. But Humans in Black just sounds moronic. For bonus outrage -- anyone using the term "woke" in its hipster definition form should be beaten with a sack of sweet Valencia oranges. "bae" also goes on that list.
  12. For a while back in 2000 the local Fox affiliate was showing TAS weekdays at 4 PM. Since this was near the frenetic peak of my return to comic collecting, I'd make sure to be home by the time it started (screw high school, X-Men is on!). One particular Friday they preempted it for some other nonsense, and I was so pissed I drove to the local theater and saw the first X-Men movie for the 4th or 5th time. Needed my fix! Good memories. Now they show Wendy Williams or some other nonsense in that once great timeslot.
  13. Please tell me I'm not the only person who started reading at post 1, thought this was a brand new thread, and felt their blood pressure rise while thinking "WHAT?! Why did I pay four figures for an 8.0!!?!?! *($&%(*$(#!!!!!" And in keeping with the resurrected posts - I seem to recall the opportunity to get an 8.0 at $300 way back when. I should've bought that one
  14. They’re a big part of Apocalypse: The 12 too. Still a lousy fit for this Dark Phoenix fiasco though.
  15. The trick with airplane movies you think/know will be bad is to watch with the sound off and make up your own dialogue. Turns out Prince of Persia is about Jake Gylenhall trying to avoid paying his cousin Frank the $50 that he owes him.
  16. That whole debacle would've contributed more to the film if BB-8 won the First Order as a grand prize after rigging a slot machine to hit on all 7s. And Snoke was on the main stage in his Liberace get-up singing Viva Las Vegas in the background.
  17. Hey, you don't know that. A New Hope told us nothing in regards to Aunt Beru's prowess in the import/export industry. For all we know, she was even better at selling weapons than Benicio del Toro-guy (seriously, what was that character's name again?) in TLJ.
