  1. Heard that, I can’t wait until the day comes when I have nothing to sell on eBay.
  2. Doubt it, at some point the fine print of their terms probably says “we know we suck at this and guarantee no accuracy in anything”.
  3. You mean like eBay’s awful new seller page design? I made sure to offer my feedback on that...namely that it looks like a 4 year old purposely designed it to be as unnavigable as possible.
  4. Two reports on Jonesvilleboy015 within 2 hours, dude is really making friends today...
  5. Not at all. In fact, I think you pointed out a great reason not to trust any Stan Lee yellow labels bearing a date >= 8/6/2018.
  6. Man that thread still makes me sick... Anyway, seems to me Celestial Wind knew full well about what was going on with the blood ink. In fact, this here -- "Copies of this variant have been made available through Avengers Station located in Las Vegas. Avengers Station is working with Stan Lee’s Hands of Respect and is offering a special copy of this cover. The details of the Stan Lee Solvent DNA Ink will be made available online shortly." makes me think they were willing participants in it, at the minimum by willingly providing the books to those S.T.A.T.I.O.N. vultures.
  7. I hope this is actually true for Stan's own well being. On another note, this is the first I've heard of Celestial Wind being involved in the creation of those sadistic blood ink comics. Is that actually true?
  8. Back in early 2012 I bought a large lot that had an ASM 300 and three ASM 129s. I sold them all relatively quickly to help offset the overall lot cost. I really wish I hadn't done that...
  9. Hi Johnny - NM/M is 10.32 - 12.71. Defined by Billy, the guy who hangs out at State & Adams with a pint of Skoal during the morning commute, a NM/M can have the following: At most, -4 flaws. 0 is unacceptable. No signs of handling. Or viewing. True North corners. 90 degrees is for amateurs. Is impervious to creases, and causes creases in lesser books that approach it. As the book I received from you does not fit these criteria, I will be returning it post haste.
  10. True dat. Heck I’d say most of their interactions in III give off that vibe.
  11. Chancellor Emperor - “Hey, she’s gonna die you know.” Hayden Vader - ‘Really? Well I guess I should be evil now.’ Chancellor Emperor - “Rockin’. I’ma call you...Darth....uh...Vader.” Best origin ever.
  12. I’m with the Chuckster on this, Lucas’ involvement seems unlikely given his wildly divergent view on where he would have taken VII-9. You think the fan backlash to TLJ was bad? Imagine the outrage over three movies about bacteria.
  13. @RockMyAmadeus For the record, I can always see auto rejected offers. It shows up on the seller page under “review all offers”. I never take the time to reach out, but the option is there.
  14. On the flip side, using your $125 floor example - if the guy gets auto-rejected at $120 and doesn’t subsequently place a higher offer, would having the opportunity to try and negotiate even be worth it? Would he even respond to, say, a $165 counter? With the floor price in place, less potential hassles in my view (unless of course you get my favorite message - “hey bro, what’s the least you’d take for this book?” And...block). Certainly an argument to be made on both sides, ultimately it comes down to time vs. opportunity.
  15. If the time ever comes for me to liquidate, I’m going to call it the “Bourbon Barrel Pedigree”. Complete with funny anecdote about how I hand selected every book while toasted on some of Kentucky’s finest. It won’t be true, but hey, why not?
  16. Average forum dissenter - “TLJ is a bad movie and here’s why I think so.” Chucktator - ‘RAH! Fanboy racist hater website hackers! Dollars and Disney and Ryan Johnson and exit polls! Opinions as facts, facts as opinions, cats and dogs!’
  17. There are fewer 9.8 copies of 180 by a factor of three when compared to 181 as well. I’m glad I bought mine last summer.
  18. This coming from the guy who originally started this thread trying to raise an internet posse to “bombard” someone who he felt wronged him (which is debatable with the return address debacle).
  19. They’ve been talking about doing re-shoots for months. This hardly seems like it’s the first round of them.
  20. Sounds like Fox is re-shooting the entire thing, they almost have to release just to hope it breaks even.
