That the Marvel NOW! era never happened.

I've been inspired to take a whole new approach to the stock market - every time I buy an equity and it goes down in value a few days later, I'm going to ask eTrade to refund me the difference. It's genius, no risk investing!

Looks like I'm on a roll! Guy just hits the buy it now for $500...0 feedback...became a Ebay member today...screen name..."fartobam0"..not counting on this one
+1000 odds say the guy thinks you had the book underpriced and pays you double. Any takers?

There's a full SS 9.8 run of MCP 72-84 on the registry, all signed by BWS. Makes me jealous every time...

Imagine if eBay would charge the deadbeat's account the full final value fee once the NPB case was closed. The lesson learned of paying 10% in order to receive nothing would be a nice deterrent.

I'll never forget the CGC 9.3 copy of AF15 I once saw on eBay. Complete with poorly photoshopped label. Memories...

BIN with best offer enabled?

The Wolverine crashed right after he waxed Shingen. Think about how LS 4 handled Wolverine's jaunt to Yashida Corporate vs. the movie:
LS 4 - There's probably flunkies everywhere, so I'll need this crossbow, this rope, those arrows, these throwing stars...and I'll get in there all quiet like.
Movie - Trap? Bah! I'ma ride my bike right up to the reception desk and show 'em what's up!
Which strategy worked out better, and which was more true to the character's legacy?

Piggybacking off jimbo, 2010ish-present gets dubbed "Relaunch".
Marvel NOW? Marvel! NO!

Count me among the unexcited if they trot Phoenix out again. "The Last Stand" was terrible, and how do you fit the whole saga into an appx 2 hour movie while still giving the real story proper play? TLS tried to shoe horn it into "well Jean has an extra personality", and that failed hard. Working in the Shi'ar and Hellfire Club etc would need a good amount of backstory just by themselves.

How many autographs?
How much "white space" does the cover have?
How much will it cost?
Do you really want the autographs?
What's more important - the autographs, or how the book ultimately displays?
Things to consider.

Need you a Miller signed copy to go along with it I think!

A good day of drinking is always the best time to grade. How else would one find those elusive Mint+ books?
-
Hopefully his health is good, last photo I saw of him he looked like he was 100. And that was with Stan next to him.
-
Is there a restocking fee for reviving this thread?
We should probably assume it's overgraded as well.

Right on, people have waited a lifetime to finally see Patrick Stewart naked!
Well they already got a PG-13 version of it in that TNG episode where he gets captured by the Cardassians.
I really wish I could bring myself to not hate this movie sight unseen, but all things Wolverina are a non-starter in my crotchety old man comic world.
I simply do not remember him being captured by the Kardashians ....
Don't you remember when Darh'el - A Gul was dating Khloé Kardashian?
It was season 3 episode 2: Keeping up with the Cardassians.

When will the madness end?
Never. I personally have been inspired to start the CLSA - Comic Label Spellcheck Authority. My tamper evident yellow smiley face sticker will 100% guarantee that your graded comic's label is free of any spelling errors.
Punctuation check will cost extra though.
Ahhhh, I was hoping for a grammatical error in your post. You know, something to drive home the value and importance of the CLSA. Something like: "when collecting comics, it's important to look a head."
You sir, are hired as Director of Marketing and Sales!

Sadly, with so many of the movies being "reboots" of the franchise already, I'm concerned another one is going to just fall flat, unless they take a really good angle that explains the previous movies in a meaningful way.
And once again involves Sam Worthington donating his heart to save Christian Bale while ignoring all the complexities of organ transplantation. They don't even have to be in character, it could just be a side bar of those two talking it over at the local Starbucks.

The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I personally thought it was terrible.

This is my favorite cover of the bunch, and I'll post images of the actual books that I have reserved for this signing a little later tonight.
Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan #1 (IDW cover B variant) s/s Meyer - $195
Currently 10 spots available for this cover
Optional add William Shatner at his next convention appearance for $100
Optional add Nichelle Nichols at her next convention appearance for $75
I reiterate my earlier and request the addition of Shatner! KHAAAAAAAANNNN!

Basically it looks like a third party that would say the book presents better than graded.
If you received a grade you are not happy with, it may be worth it for this company to say it looks better than graded.
You're better off getting the grader's notes and comparing them against the book. The few times I've had to go down that road I've immediately wound up concluding "well crackle my bacon, they did get it right."
I hate winning bidders that messages you right after the listing ends that they cannot pay

eBay's feedback system slanting heavily in the buyer's favor and total lack of NPB consequences is to blame for this.
