  1. Necessities first: Payment: In addition to PayPal, I will also accept check / money order / Zelle, though the book will be held until clearance. Payment due within 10 business days. Shipping (domestic): Domestic shipping is by insured USPS priority and is included in the book price. International Shipping - exact cost, minus the US shipping cost. Please inquire first for an accurate quote. Returns: No returns on CGC books since you know what you're getting. On the HoS? Probation list? Or we have some other beef (on my ignore list, bad con interaction, etc.)? Don't bother. Can provide board references if needed (no name dropping here), and over 1700 positive eBay feedback as well -- https://feedback.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback2&userid=792mn. And I've got a fledgling kudos thread started (link is in my profile page). First posted in the thread wins a book outright (so don't PM it to me, a thread take it wins out regardless of time stamp). Original book that kicked off this thread -- Wolverine (2003) 66, Dynamic Forces Edition. Signed by cover artist and comic legend Herb Trimpe. $275 shipped
  2. Frankly, I'd like to thank the other guys for losing 300+ copies of those worthless Pooh books. Sad to see the publisher replacing them, the world doesn't need any more litter.
  3. THIS. I'd call the book a 1.0 due to the amount of the back cover that is missing. Great low grade copy though, hopefully you snagged it at a good price.

I see that two 9.2 copies recently fetched around $700 on eBay, so let's call this guy $525 shipped.
  5. Call me when some two bit retailer staples after market acetate to it.
  6. Guess we know a few other people that are going to lose money on UF4 reprint frankencraps.

What more needs to be said? Oh right, a price. I see that a 4.0 with ow-w pages went for $399 on eBay on 8/23. Let's call this guy $350 shipped.
  9. You're describing eBay behavior, which doesn't fly here. In the future, you'd be better off pm'ing the seller in advance on all books that you're interested in to work out a package deal. Using the and then trying to back out when further negotiations don't go your way is just going to open you up to a host of problems.
  10. A book getting tattooed solely for fingerprints is nothing new, it happened to me several years ago. Perfect 9.8 looking book, but with fingerprint marks that I didn't see until after grading. Result -- 8.5 Not to say CGC is doing a great job right now by any means, but they probably aren't all screw ups.
  11. We’re talking about a company that once gave out pay for grades to “invisible” comics, no way would I dare to make the assumption that CGC wasn’t complicit in the Black Flag fiasco from the start.
  12. 11 more minutes of footage sounds like a punishment.
  13. Finally, GLOD's for this frankencrap. Though I do find that I'm still wondering how 10 copies of three different books mutilated by acetate managed to get the exact same grade distribution, including mint grades.
  14. @shadroch is the AZ guy you’re thinking of. And drive as fast as you can through Kingman, don’t bother stopping.
  15. For those asking about “red flags”, I believe any item reported as stolen can be entered into NCIC. Whether or not that actually happened in this instance seems questionable.
