  1. I built some sweet crates for all my books- i take the lids around to comic shows and get them sketched on and signed- its always fun cruising a comic show with a big hunk of wood under your arm--- atone show i lady stopped my and asked to take a picture of me with my plank-- she thought i was a character from Ed, Edd and Eddie- pretty funny---
  2. that's actually a pretty sweet book- one of the first reprints with the black bar on the bottom- during the Walking Dead heyday that would have fetched around $200 easy with the sig- still a solid book
  3. -I had one of those Batman Blank books done up- i actually requested the artist do a sketch on the cover and inside the book and not tell me what he did and then grade it- i thought it would be fun to have a graded book with a mystery sketch in it- the artist agreed to tell me what the sketch is in 10 years- like a fun time capsule- so im with ivdyer- to each their own- (plus i have an excuse to get ten more years worth of sketches from an artist-- good way to keep on top of a commissions list)
  4. I built the boxes- made the decals- and sent the lids off to different artist to paint on- the insides of the boxes are lined with carpet samples from GM intended for Camaros-- I have 6 full crates at the moment-- gotta keep the Walking Dead books from escaping-
  5. Where is everybody stashing all their Walking Dead books? Those Anniversary books are gonna take up a lot of space
  6. same here, i have a stack that still hasnt been checked in- i dont ever mind the wait on the grading- i am just always relieved when the are received- at least i know they are safe-- it does seem like this gets taken into account- and once the books are in- the seem to get a little boost-
  7. there is a digital only Walking Dead off shoot book called "the Alien"- its about Ricks brother and what happened over-seas during the zombie uprising- its really good- i wished they made it into a hard copy- you can find it here: http://panelsyndicate.com/comics/thewalkingdead
  8. this made me laugh out loud---- or maybe its all just a dream-------I keep hoping that they will somehow meet up with the Spanish chick that Ricks brother met up with in the "Alien" story
  9. Someone needs to grade the new issue quick and see what notes CGC puts on the label...
  10. it would be the ultimate gamble-- that book is by far the rarest Walking Dead book- you would be super ballin' if you had it re-signed or colored- (it should be worth about 10000 registry points either way)
  11. there are 5 of those Negan sketches (supposedly) - since CGC wasnt there when Charlie sketched them- they get the green label- but when Ryan cracks it open so i can color it- it will get the yellow label with green stripe-
  12. let me crack that thing open and color it! (cmon- you have 2 or 3 of them)
  13. this cover is genius-- the CGC label is leaking into the comic cover-
  14. You could get almost 3 sketch cards from Tony for $200- That Ottley cover was probably big bucks too when commissioned - Ryan is big-time- and he deserves it- he is sooo good- I'd love to own a full Ottley cover
  15. what about Tony Moore sketches- he charges A LOT-- ive only ever been able to get 1 of his full sketches-
