Hiroshima by John Hersey Bantam    404   1948      $30

Classic that everyone in my generation read in high school. Geoffrey Biggs cover depicting the horrors of Atomic Warfare.

Fine Plus/VF minus. Square, glossy and tight with a few bends.  Lamination is all there with only slight lifting. Nice pages.

    CLUE COMICS V.2 #2

    FR ow/w pages

Missing most of back cover, crayon scribble on remainder and a three pages inc. last and an interior page (see picture), and one panel of another int. page.

Cover is still attached at both staples. Decent eye appeal on front- which is the main interest in this book.

    $900

This thread is hard. I feel like I am in a candy store and every time I pick up a sweet delectable, someone with angry red pants, a fabled artist or that one that just gets on your nervs slaps it out of my hand. I want the sweet Macro-Reese's Cup and I keep getting the sugar free gum.

    Beautiful and INTERESTING books!!

I have barely managed to dodge this thread so far (barley), but like Sir Dover, have been envisioning a “pull the trigger moment” that would subsequently and instantly turn into a watershed event and result in something like this …

Fantastic Art of Frank Frazetta Book One and Two (later printings), all in all, nice shape.  Not perfect but they look essentially new and unread.  These are the books that I first really got a look at Frazetta's incredible paintings as a kid.  High quality reproductions throughout.  $60 for the pair.

I would like to claim these in thread please.

I estimate I spent 21.5 hours in this thread.

Locations while watching/buying/refreshing: house (living room, bathroom (multiple), comic room), work (office), plane (going to CA, returning), San Diego airport - United lounge and baggage claim, at customers location, Salt Lake city (various locations including while waiting for luggage), Washington Dulles - United lounge, open house for Mooresville Arts gallery show, Aldi's parking lot, various gas stations, likely more.

    Devices used: phone and laptop.

    Books purchased: 53.

Rating for thread: 9.8 out of 10. Would have been 10 out of 10 but twice TCP bought a book I would have. OP had no control over that.

Truth: I only bought them to get a rise out of you. Roma Victrix.

Just tell me which ones already for the love of cripes!  Pretty sure I know, but you can confess to this preacher. I'll send to you for same price I bought them.
