'I agree with this 100%, the mags from those days were great. The stories were written to an older audience and the art looks great in black and white ' I believe the mags were outside of the comics code so artists and writers could be a bit more loose.

Great books, guys! I love seeing what you all come upon in the wild Came across these the other day! I love Treasury Editions... I don't think I've ever seen a batch in such great shape. These are sitting at NM- to NM+ across the board (minus the Close Encounters, which is the rougher book of the lot). Great stories... great art. I wish they still pumped these out... If they made an AF variant of SW7 Leia as slave Leia, I would be all over that.

Why I think it didn`t excite me like most was I seen all this stuff and storylines done in videogames over the last decade. If you haven`t been experiencing the last 6 to 8 years of videogames than Mad Max Fury Road will seem fresh and groundbreaking. I disagree. I've been in the games industry for the last 13 years, and work with lots of folks that have been hardcore gamers for even longer than that. I haven't heard a single negative point made about this movie from any of them. One of the best movies I've seen in a long time. I've seen it twice so far. Even better the second time around after having read the book that came out a few weeks ago.

Wow- great read! WiH9 is a good book... Had never read this series. Have seen it around plenty of times, but have never sat down with an issue until now.

Found two pretty nice copies of WiH 9 around town today. Lucky finds... will keep my CM nice and cozy. Death sandwich

Nothing that has any sort of crazy value, but I love the cover nonetheless. The werewolf looks like a rabid Ewok. Found this at Half Price Books. I never expect to find anything there (and I very rarely buy anything from their bins)- usually just jump in on occasion on the way home from the office.

I believe it's a 4 part series (so far anyhow). Not to leave out the Furiosa series that will be starting up as well. Anyone know what the print run was on that? Seemed to go super fast...

Picked up the Granov SW Infinity Gauntlet variant today. Had my pick from 6 of them.. got a pretty nice copy. Picked up a normal cover as well and gave it a read. Pretty good book! Setting up some interesting stuff... I recommend it.

/sigh Overpriced variants... I guess I'll pick one up tomorrow. It is a pretty nice looking cover.

This book sold out insanely fast. I think I just bought the last two copies in Austin... every store was out of these as of Saturday. I wonder what the print run on this was? The movie was fantastic - looking forward to reading this issue. --edit-- Read it... very cool back story!
