  1. I agree with you on several points. First, Mike is absolutely awesome in the way he's helped me as well as other members. Second, Calling Customer Service. For me, it's hit or miss. At times I'll get someone who is at the top of their game and actually goes above and beyond to help me (like Mike). Other times, it's like why did I even bother calling? -script reading, misinformation. To illustrate, I called and had a question about Imaging. I was given an answer that didn't sound quite right. So I took it a step further and contacted the nice woman who sends me my CGC images. When I told her what the customer service agent said, it was news to her. Bottom line, I was misinformed by the CSA.
  2. @Russ4515 Hi - A slot already exists for this book in Set Marvel Silver Age 1st Issues (1956-1969) ...
  3. Hi, You need to place your request in the 2023 THIS SET DOESN'T EXIST, PLEASE BUILD REQUESTS thread. Please be sure to read the first post for direction and guidance. And most importantly, include Cert #'s for each slab.
  4. For anyone that's interested, a 2nd printing of Batman 135 will be available, 6/27 ...
  5. I have a slew of FTM's sitting in my Submission Tracking all at SFG. When I spoke to a customer service person yesterday, I was told that because I added Imaging to my submissions, that's another 10 days added to the TAT. I was like, "WHAT?" It's always been my experience that Imaging is encompassed during the FTM 10 Day TAT. Then after the submission ships, several days later I receive my pics from Imaging via e-mail. I swear Customer Service makes news rules up as they go.
  6. I posted about this in another thread yesterday. I should have posted it here. Yesterday, I saw this set go up for sale on on eBay. It's a pic of the Batman 135 Quesada Connecting Covers A & B. However, the two different covers are both labeled "Quesada Variant Cover." Here's a link to the eBay listing for reference: https://www.ebay.com/itm/235023420171 AND THEN, this was posted for sale on eBay earlier this morning: Again, Quesada Connecting Variants A & B BUT this time they're both labeled "Variant Cover." Here's a link to the eBay listing for reference: https://www.ebay.com/itm/364272420784 Clearly, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing.
  7. @CGC Mike Can you please let someone in Grading and/or QC know that they're not paying attention to detail again. Just saw this go up on eBay. It's a pic of the Batman 135 Quesada Connecting Covers A & B. However, the two different covers are both labeled "Quesada Variant Cover." Here's a link to the eBay listing for reference: https://www.ebay.com/itm/235022800821 Thank you!
  8. Huh, just read through the August 2023 DC Solicits at bleedingcool.com and yet another month goes by without a solicit for Batman 137
  9. Now that's a beautiful thing Thank you, Matt!
  10. A Public Service Announcement if you're submitting the Batman 134 Lau Foil Edition for grading. Thing is, there are TWO different Lau Foil Editions. One is the Artgerm Collectibles Exclusive and the other is the 1:50 Retailer Incentive Edition. I first noticed this when I saw graded copies of these slabs on eBay and yet both were (mis)labeled Lau Foil Edition. So basically, Grading screwed the pooch. I sent a note to submissions@cgccomics.com about this because I sent two copies of each in for grading and I wanted them labeled correctly. Imaging sent me pics of my slabs that I submitted and PLEASE make note ... The Artgerm Collecitbles Edition is labeled Lau Foil Edition A. (see attached pic) The 1:50 Retailer Edition is labeled Lau Foil Edition B. The distinct difference between the two is that Edition A has a prominent Green cross on Punchline's right glove while the 1:50 Retailer Edition (Lau Foil Edition B) does not. Also the back covers look vastly different between the two. How the Grading Team missed this, I haven't a clue. Thanks. @CrystalM CS @CGC Mike
  11. One thing about M.E. returns which I would like to see. Let's say you send in a book for grading and also requested imaging. Thing is, you get the book back and it's Mislabeled. In turn, Imaging then sends a pic of your slab with the flawed label. Well, that image is of no use to me. You can request an M.E. but when I asked if the book would be re-imaged, I was told "No." I don't think this is right. Because CGC couldn't get it right the first time, I get a bad image. I think if you have to send back a slab as an M.E. and said slab was previously imaged, CGC should re-image the book for you (at no cost). The only alternative is to pay to have the book reholdered and where you are then given the option to have the slab re-imaged.
  12. Dear CGC, The book listed in M.E. Submission Tracking 4255424 is labeled incorrectly. Instead of Batman 134 Lau Foil Edition B, it should be labeled Batman 134 Lau Foil Edition A. I've attached a screen shot of the Submission Tracking in question as well as a pic of a slab labeled Lau Foil Edition A. The distinct difference between the two is that Edition A has a prominent Green cross on Punchline's right glove while the 1:50 Retailer Edition (Lau Foil Edition B) does not. Can you please correct and/or notify the Grading Team? Thank you
  13. This request will sit here in limbo. You need to place it in the 2023 THIS SET DOESN'T EXIST, PLEASE BUILD REQUESTS thread: Please be sure to read the first post for direction and guidance.
  14. @mycomicshop Uh, Conan, I just checked and would like to know where did all my Consignment Information go, especially the items I currently have up for Auction?
  15. If you sent in a slab for the the signing, CGC will crack the book out of the old slab in order for it to be signed, and then it will be recased in a newer holder for you.
  16. No, Crystal, I'm good to go now - thank you!!
  17. Dear CGC, I just replied to a note Crystal M sent me about an ongoing submission issue and I received an e-mail delivery failure. Here's the text of the note: This is a delivery failure notification message indicating that an email you addressed to email address : -- submissions@cgccomics.com could not be delivered. The problem appears to be : -- Recipient email server rejected the message Additional information follows : -- 5.7.51 TenantInboundAttribution; There is a partner connector configured that matched the message's recipient domain. 18. Dell'Otto does quite a few covers for the current Batman series. This recent one is a fave ...
  19. At my LCS, if I didn't have it on my pull list, I would never see an issue of Batman. And the owner orders LARGE on the main title. I crossed Thor off my list after Cates bailed and according to said LCS owner so did a lot of the other regulars.
  20. Maybe this article will enlighten things for you https://trendingpopculture.com/dc-3d-villains-month-print-runs-and-the-rarest-issues/
  21. It was a gimmick at the time. 23.1 thru 23.4 were 3-D Lenticular covers. Each one featured a different Batman villain. 23.1 - Joker 23.2 - Riddler 23.3 - Penguin 23.4 - Bane
