  1. Hello Mr. GATor. Was wondering if you had any info on a comic. Specifically I'm wondering if the w in pencil is the mark of any pedigrees? Thanks.
  2. It will be awesome. The Rock has his spoon together. Early Bowen work.
  3. It's only a matter of time ...... Creem, Trouser Press, Circus, Esquire, Colliers, Saturday Eve. Post. The list is endless.
  4. Holy Toledo! I met Ms. Myers twice. She set up at the MotorCity ComicCon back in the late nineties. Here I was looking for comics and I run into the most astounding Playmate of them all. A real sweetie. Sadly she is no longer with us. Sad to hear she had passed. Not to make light but it seems unlikely that drowning was the cause.
  5. So a customer does you the great service of purchasing a very expensive comic and then you bad mouth him and publish his 'name' in a thread about buyers from eBay that are so bad they should be blocked? +1, Buyer is under no obligation to correspond back to the seller. He paid and missing the mailman isn't a crime. As Andy Dufresne would say, you are being obtuse. Tried to figure out the outcome of Stumptown's warning about buyer but was unable to find thread. Anyone know?
  6. Phew, had to squint myself when I reread your post. First read saw an r instead of a n!
  7. I won a few of them. Some of the early books with detached covers seemed like they went for very strong prices.
  8. http://s1308.photobucket.com/user/jmorleymun1/media/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsbt6lndeb.jpeg.html?o=0 This is a great thread. So many beautiful Centaurs. This is one of my best.
  9. http://i1308.photobucket.com/albums/s609/jmorleymun1/Mobile%20Uploads/image_zpsdbb60qo8.jpeg Not sure this is the best thread for this but while I was going through an old box of Famous Monsters of Filmland and came across this brochure/pamphlet for the very first convention in 1974. Was wondering if anyone knew any details about that con and the desirability of the item? It's two back and front pages and is on a bluish paper. The convention schedule is outlined. Thanks.
  10. You can be a bit of a hard *spoon* sometimes. Did you ever find that quote or are you still calling RMA wrong based on just memory? Because I just looked at some old pictures of myself, and what I saw was not what I remembered. The memory is not very reliable even in legal testimony. This place is what you make of it. It's just bigger. There's plenty of serious comic people discussing comics. Nope. It's smaller. And not a place to talk comics unless I wanted to sell. Most of the threads here are asking about selling their comics. Not a lot about about the comics themselves. Sad. Jim I'm relatively new around here so don't take it the wrong way when I disagree with you Jim. I find the forums very informational although it's easier to google search a topic with links to the threads than use the sites own search function. I think what you've actually identified is what happens in a well established forum. People have spent years talking with one another and have grown to have long standing good and bad relations with other forum members. The posts sometimes degenerate into sophomoric humor and ad-hominem attacks but it certainly makes it real. If you want to see how bad it can be come to the COD1 server I play on! As far when the New Mutants 98 bubble will burst? I believe this thread is about to hit 100 pages ... 'Nuff said.
  11. BA12 and can you guess the six reasons I said so? GGA stands the test of time. Besides I have enough of the others and zero BA12s. In fact, if some one wants to trade a perfect raw BA12 for a perfect either of the others pm me.
