  3. Well that's super cool! Yep, the US version is from January 15 1933, the 22nd issue (out of 325). Awesome. At first I thought that was the original, but I don't see the signature. Is it a recreation? By who? Sorry about that! Artist is Guernsey. Bought it about a decade ago off EBay.

  5. Read this post and then Greggy's. Laughed out loud.
  6. Congrats! One of the toughest -- and strangest! -- of the Hitler covers. Nice book! That's Hitler? Here I thought they'd put Crispin Glover on the cover.
  7. Sweet Iron Fist just saw its first light of day in decades.
  8. Great stuff everyone. For me I was unpacking a few new boxes and was very happy with the grades. Here's a few samples.

  10. Wow. Those are some tough acts to follow. The Shadow knows ...
  11. Great books! And might I add, interesting bagging job ya did there Those puppies are screaming for 4mil mylars Thanks. They are in individual mylar sleeves from about 15 years ago and the larger magazine poly bags on the outside. Not good? Someday I'll post what shares the bag with the 13!
  12. Beautiful copy. Not seeing enough defects on front cover to warrant an 8.5?
  13. Looking at buying a nice raw copy and it has the Mark Jewelers insert. Does this change the value at all? Thanks!
  14. Watch out these are akin to fools gold. I've been hoarding high grade copies for a very long time and still no price appreciation! Arts good stories not so much. Their Vicki title (bit of an Archie knockoff) is by far the rarest and most collectible.
  15. Followed all three of these statues for years on Ebay. All have smaller versions but with original boxes and undamaged the Superman sell for between $250-$500, Batman $300-$600 and sandman $150-$300. Quite a range but thats the 'bay! My advice would be to list at higher end range with a make an offer option.
  16. Raw 5. Chipping and old tape. Letter from Roy Thomas inside!
  17. Who says the cherry blossoms only come out in the spring?
  18. Sweet Lord! Who knew this book in this condition could go for so much? http://www.ebay.com/itm/1963-MARVEL-TALES-TO-ASTONISH-44-CGC-8-0-OW-W-PAGES-1ST-APPEARANCE-WASP-/172279153901?hash=item281ca344ed:g:dJ0AAOSwZVlXj63x

  20. Thought it noteworthy to publish the just finished ebay auction results for Archie Comics 3, CGC 8.0 (single highest graded copy). At first blush the final price of $4900 seems like a tremendous drop from its 2015 sales price of $6800 but in 2014 it sold for just more than $4000. Not sure how much can be made of this as it was sold at a poor time of day by a rather inexperienced ebay seller mostly during San Diego. Bidding was tremendous as it was selling for about $150 with 15 minutes to go.
  21. I keep telling my wife she just doesn't get it when she says it would be very hard for Sonja to fight.
