  1. Is King's Batman a worthy investment? Anyone here fill a short box? I know the print will be astronomical, and that DC is allowing returns, but I'm hoping that King's writing will drive value, as well as give an engaging story. Will the print be double or tripple that of the last #1, which was 188,420 (09/2011)? It's gonna be large, what with DC Rebirth having a print of 235,791, Batman 52 at 102,197, and then of course DKIII #1 having a print of 440,234.

I myself found 3 aspen b/w Turner variants, 1 Tim Sale variant, and 10 cover A.

    Opinions are welcome.

  2. Moon Knight #1 1:25 Marco Rudy variant is a good flip if you were able to get one for $10-15 on Wednesday

The regular cover is sold out at several shops around here

The book is awesome. Whether this is able to hold its value, is anyone's guess. This was my favorite #1 from the relaunch.

  3. The Power Rangers book is continuing to rise in price. The variants and regular issues had a great day. I've got two sets of the five covers, and none of the variants, but I'm keeping my eyes on these titles.

A set of 5 is going for $40-55, the 1:50 is auctioning at little over $140

shipped, and the 1:100 has auctioned at a little over $235 with shipping.

  4. i wish Silk was hotter too. She's getting there, and this Campbell cover will revive some interest in her other issues.

I am totally blown away by the prices and reception to the latest Power Rangers comic. The 1:50 and 1:100 are certainly rising, and the other five covers (one for each Ranger) are sold out all over. I'm wishing I had preordered the 1:50 or 1:100, but I picked up two sets of the other five covers. I'm wondering what the print run will be for each cover, not that I really care, because the story is good enough to carry issue 0 by itself.

  5. I think the A-Force NWA cover that debuts tomorrow will become iconic.

Not saying it will be rare, but it's definitely cool. Should Singularity or this new villain (which makes a first appearance in this issue) have a good story, this book will only become more sought after. It's also an Adam Hughes, and his covers are usually in demand. The Campbell cover is doing well in pre-orders on the bay, and I do also like the 1:25 Ibanez cover, but the Hughes cover looks great to me.

  6. Some books that I think will be hot or hotter in 2016 are:

1- Southern Bastards. Tons of room for growth as the television show progresses. The story is interesting, and done well. Pretty low print run on some issues. I can see this book quadrupling in price. Right now you can probably find it for $10 or under.

2- Hyperion. Lots of the squadron supreme stories can be found for a good price. From the toys and cartoons that Marvel is releasing, it's pretty obvious that they are trying to increase the popularity of Hyperion.

3- Citizen V/Thunderbolts. There was a little bit of talk about Red Hulk/Thunderbolts this year, and i think a Thunderbolts movie or tv show could be received well, and would work well with Agents of Shield.

4- Wes Craven related books. Both The Disciples and Coming of Rage came out this year, but Wes Craven also passed, but his company is still going, and either of these stories could be made for other medias. The Disciples had a press release before the book was even out about being developed by Craven's company. Also Steve Niles worked on these books, and they are really great reads.

5- White Fox, Guillotine, Gwenpool, Silk, Spider-Gwen, Singularity, America Chavez, Synapse (basically any of the Inhumans), and Shredded Man.
