  1. Well sir... I will just have to take your word for it then.
  2. Whenever in doubt just fully state the observed defects that keep you on the fence or don't show up well in pics/scans. You will do fine brother! No guts no glory!!!
  3. There is some equally sneaky hypo dermo needle action within those pages.
  4. Google Spreadsheets. It's free; and you can access it anywhere; any device (platform agnostic). Acts just like Excel, you can search quick, sort, view, filter it from your phone; the whole enchilada. Great way to organize quick and have access to it in a tabular format everywhere. My .....
  5. Hello all of you Lover Boys and Girls, for your viewing pleasure tonight I have Walked this Miss Patsy Walker #5 back out of the Comic Crypt. She seems to like and come out and say Hi! around this time of year. As many of you know me; this book may seem in far left field from my core collecting strength. There is something about it though that stays within my gravitational pull. I think it's the novelty of the "Injury to Eye" designation that Overstreet has tagged it over the years. And the obscurity of that with a title like this; which is usually reserved for Horror (my focus). The Rules: The Deal: in thread takes precedence over IM. Let's Talk if you have some trade bait (see "The Wild Card" below") The Payment: I will accept Money Order, Check (must clear), Paypal. Anything else check with me first but I am flexible. Payment expected within 2 weeks unless agreed upon directly with me. The Shipping: I will ship the books how ever you want. Just expect it to take additional time to send out if not USPS. I will charge the exact cost and let you pay for the amount of Insurance and Extras that you want. I can get it bubble wrapped well and in a Flat Rate Priority Box for $13.65 (insurance extra) The Return: No Returns on this book. It's CGC Graded; I will pack it bomb proof any issues outside of this would be grounds for Insurance Claims. Ask me questions if you have any. See my Kudos; I've been around for ages and have put together Epic Sales threads for Horror Books. The Wild Card: Trade Bait / Partial Trade / Funny Money considerations: Patsy Walker #1 (Roller Skate Pillow on Heini Black Cover) Frankenstein #1 (Prize Comics) Junior Comics #14 (Slippery Toad Peek-A-Boo) Junior Comics #16 (Roller Coaster Terror Perk) ( @Ricksneatstuff Crippen Copy? ) Schomburg Work Lee Elias Work (Love & PCH Comics) LB Cole Work (Mask #1, #2, Power Comics #1 & #3, and more) Comic Magazine Original Art (Warren, Marvel, Skywald, Eerie Pub) Mac Raboy Master Comics & Captain Marvel Jr (especially with Nazzzeees) My Kudos: The Book: Patsy Walker #5 by Timely from 1946 (yes that is 73 years old!). CGC Graded 9.4 with Off-White/White Pages. Only 4 graded total. None Higher. Next lowest 6.5. Pedigree Davis Crippen "D" Copy only rivaled by the Mile High Edgar Church 9.4 OW/W copy. Asking: Asking: $3,500 This copy does have improvable defects. Light non-breaking color spine stress. Not promoting this but stating what I have observed; could technically be a 9.6 I believe. Some Facts: Edgar Church's old copy sold for $3,585.00 on November 18th, 2017 on Heritage. Awesome Esoteric Archery cover with Overstreet labeling it as an "Injury to the Eye Cover" There is a spanking panel under those covers! Cover Artist Al Jaffee was the brain-child behind Mad Magazines folding page to image novelty! I freshly took the picture today. Would benefit from being in a new great visibility holder and getting the credit in the notes of "Injury to Eye" from Overstreet and "Spanking Panels" as noted by CGC. Love the "Americana" to this and the "Head full of Steam" exuded in the cover artwork. - bounty
  6. @Jayman congratulations my man! Glad you scored a copy of this Wonderful LB Cole cover. There is something about this cover that is more unique than much of Cole's other work in my opinion. It feels that his line work on this cover is more fine than most of what you see from him. Probably required due to the amount of "information" he fit into the cover. I find often a lot of his line work felt "fatter" than most artists (probably due to his movie poster style); but this cover definitely contrasts from most of his stuff. I love it! - bounty
  7. @lbcolefan what issue did you find the toughest time finding a respectable copy for?
  8. I do ultimately think that the book has been "under-valued" (in a static sense) due to a lack of copies coming up for air; in order to actually realize a "record of prices". So when we do start to actually see them hit the record logs it causes some sensation. I don't think there is anything wrong at all with the prices being paid for the grades. It is to many the Pinnacle of Cole Covers depending where you pitch your tent.
