  1. Wow, been a while since we've done this. Been busy as all get-out with work and life, trying to inch my way back into the hobby. Seeing some really intersting sells going on with Eerie Pubs right now. Still impossible to find VF/NM 9.0 and up on anything 1966-1970. 2. I beat the sh t out of my copies of Nintendo Power. They were by my side as beacon's of light as I tried to acquired the Red Candle, Silver Arrows, navigated through the tear your hair out graveyard maze in Zelda. Wow, what memories. LOVED these things. For me they actually linked me to comics. I had a buddy in the early 90's (I was like 12 years old) and his brother was off in the military (desert storm?) In his closet he had a TON of 70's/80's Claremont X-Men. All books that were way out of my price range at 12 years old. Well, my buddy really wanted my collection of Nintendo Power mags! So we worked out a deal Nintendo Powers for Claremont X-men's In retrospect I feel horrible for facilitating that deal of his brothers comics at the age of 12. I'm sure his brother tanned his hyde when he got back. - bounty

  6. Wow, it's been almost 2 years since this thread has gotten any action. I've been insanely busy with work and maintaining our first house but try and still keep a finger on the pulse. I havn't boughten in quite a bit of time but still do track auctions when they pop up. This one was a doozy for a group of Raw HG Skywald Psycho's. Here is the summary (just in case the images ever get deleted from imageshack) Psycho #1 : 9.4 : $153 Psycho #2 : 9.6 : $154.50 Psycho #3 : 9.2 : $46 Psycho #4 : 9.2 : $34 Psycho #5 : 9.4 : $177 Psycho #6 : 9.2 : $52 Psycho #7 : 9.4 : $39 Psycho #8 : 9.4 : $53 Psycho #9 : 9.4 : $119 Psycho #10 : 9.2: $57 Psycho Annual : $52

  9. Wow, I never knew that he was part of Fantazia. I remember back in 1988 I had ordered an ASM # 6 and #15 in NM with the money I made bagging groceries over the summer It was supposed to be my first big purchase, actually I guess it was since I did spend all of my money. I saved and saved to buy those books. In the end they never arrived I refused to buy comics through the mail after that. It's taken me 22 years to start buying comics in the mail again and I still don't have a #6 or #15. At least now I know who it was From one Spidey fan to another... That SUPA SUX! (thumbs u From one human to another... That BLOWS CHUNKS! That's what nooses are for. Unreal that another could cheat others like that. -bounty
  10. It doesn't look like anyone knows exactly what is going on with this thread (including me). Esquire, could you shed a bit more light on what is going on? It seems that with a lack of information, hysteria is setting in
  11. Gotta love that Kaluta work! I'm gonna have to join the 9.8 club soon.

  16. The monster always strikes when hanky panky is going on. Wonder if that guy got to 2nd base before he got devoured...
  17. For sure, that's why they made it into the "Record magazine Prices thread" But seriously, from experience I know that Zilla grades quite conservatively and people have started to pay over guide for advertised grade knowing this. -bounty
