  1. Man, that's COOL. I love stuff like that. I'd be willing to bet that the playing pieces are probably little metal cars. The game pieces that are with it now are your basic wooden peg type pieces, whether or not those are the originals......... The original game instructions are still there so im thinking they just might be.
  2. The original owner bought 3 sets and combined them in that box. After looking through it I found the creepy crawler molds and the fighting army men molds also.
  3. Picked up a few things at a farm auction sorry about the shine in the pics.

  5. I've had pretty good luck at estate auctions. Of course I live in a rural farming area and most of the people at these auctions have little to no idea on the value of comics. I've walked out with ASM 41, superman 199 and a handful of silver age batman/det's after spending 15-20. It's all about the area ya live in and getting lucky.
  6. I live in a rural area which isn't good for being able to go to comic stores to find books. but on the other hand I have been going farm auctions and been able to find some pretty nice books for dirt cheap. The people around here don't really know much about comics so I can get them low. I picked up a stack 20-30 comics from the 50's for $12 about 1/2 had the top third of the cover cut off but among the ones that didn't was a Detective comics 245, Batman 120, Strange Adventures 80 and some old Dell disney comics. I also picked up amazing spidey 41 and superman 199 along with a few tales of suspense and others for $4 each the other weekend.
