Gifts are on their way to a new home.

I give a general (maybe wide) parameter, like ages and what I tend to collect. I try not to give my gifter a sense of panic or pigeon hole them if we are not in the same wheel house. Although I feel the pain of getting description of I'm fine with anything.

I have an idea for a raffle gift, I'll try to take a pick and out it up over the week.

Try the local TV stations also. In my area they have a special segment every week about shady business's in the area. A little extra pressure might help.

I thought after the last thread everything was settled or on the road to being settled. But accepting an order after that makes it almost nefarious.

it also has the blue mark that I didn't like on the cover. makes sense.

Quick background. One of our suppliers at my work knows I'm a comic collector and because he is somewhat of a ebay flipper he does ask me questions from time to time. He came in early Monday and told me of a local online auction and asked me if he should bid on comic that closes the next day and shows me a picture of a whiz comics 1 with the price at about 250-300 at that time. I looked at the pictures (I will post them here at the bottom) and it did have the gangway for captain marvel on it so that checked one of the boxes but when he told me he missed the chance to look at it in person and since I haven't seen it I would pass on it. Later that night I looked at the auction at home and it just sent off bells and whistles, I did bid on and won a few other lots on the bill though. The whiz closed at 2.9k. I went today to pick up the ones I won and there on the table was the whiz 1 I asked about it and she said its will be on the next weeks auction because there was some bumps in the road after selling it and they had to relist it. So I'm guessing my bells and whistles meant reprint.
