  3. Just one book for your consideration today: Moon Girl 3 (1948). The Rules … No one on the naughty lists. Payment via cheque as I’m moving away from PayPal - book ships when cheque clears; in Canada, e-transfer for the CDN equivalent is preferred. Shipping via Canada Post within Canada is $15.00; Shipping to the US via Canada Post is $25.00. International OK, but shipping cost will be need to be determined based on where you live. Please ask for more pics if you need to. The book can be returned within two weeks of receiving (delivered date, tracking provided) - return shipping on you. The first (or just 'Take') in the thread which identifies the book, either through a quoted pic, or name of the book, claims the book and trumps ANY negotiations via PM. I’ll mark the book SOLD as soon as I can after a PM negotiation, but if another Boardie beats me to it, then he/she is the winner. Please provide payment within 2 days of receiving my PM with the invoice. My Kudos https://www.cgccomics.com/boards/topic/377554-buscemas-avengers-kudosfeedback-thread/
  4. As soon as I saw this, it checked a lot of boxes: blond, 1950s soda shop, military

  7. I'm thinking it's 4:19pm EST - why? What time are you thinking?
  8. 100% agree with this. I've had multiple copies of these issues over the years and the 5 shines much better than the 2. I'm curious if copies of 'ish 7 you've owned also reflected a healthy sheen ...
  9. I inherited this powder horn from my step-father about 10 years ago. He claimed it belonged to his father, who apparently had used it in the Louis Riel North West Rebellion of 1885 in western Canada. Without any provenance, I was skeptical. Did a little research into the years my step-father's father lived, and where he was situated during the rebellion time periods. That seemed to check out. Then sent a few pics of the horn to the National History Museum in Ottawa, and they verified that horns of this size and design were in use at the time. Although that bit of information is far from assured provenance, it is kind of cool that the horn itself dates back to the late 19th century.
