  1. Thanks for the ops ... book shows really nice ... some of the ticks toward the lower half of the spine seem more like streaks ... I would be more than happy with a 6.5 ...
  2. Need some major practice for the upcoming tournament ... what say ye?
  3. Upper right corner, back cover, fold crease (?) ... spine near the staples looks quite good; my guess would be 9.0-9.2 ... beautiful book ... don't stare too long at the Ringmaster's hat circle or you'll get dizzy ...
  4. Not sure what you have invested into it, but I think it's at least an 8.0-8.5; it doesn't look like the crease breaks color ... what are your thoughts about pressing?
  5. The next one I'll be sending off: "And Spider-Man deserves to die!"
  6. Keith is, simply put, an amazing customer to sell to ... arriving at a price for the Golden Age Archies was never easier ... enjoy the books, Keith!! And remember, any west coast Dead fans, let me know ...
  7. Sold Buddy 5 slabs and a raw ... it seems like he paid me before I had the word "sold" in the thread ... great communication ... hope you gave the FedEx guy something off the "Q" when he came back ... enjoy the books, Buddy!
  8. As a relative newbie, Jim is the kind of boardie you hope to make first and continued contact with, either buying or selling ... he picked up my X-Men 50 SS and the transaction was as smooth as can be ... thanks James ... enjoy that amazing Steranko cover ...
  9. Scott just purchased an FF from me ... quick payment, fantastic communication ... enjoy the book!!
  10. Looking forward to buying and selling on the Boards ... thanks for your feedback!!
  11. Awesome pic ... when the writer's idea of integrity is to resort to things like Reed using his stretch powers to imitate Travolta on the dance floor (from the previous garbage), one should not expect anything from the studio that shall not be named ...
  12. Have some pics of the ComicCave, but being really new here, I have no idea how to post pics ... looking for a post/file which explains the process ... can anyone assist?
  13. I would think the number of posts reveals (among other things) ... 1. Some people have a tremendous amount of spare time; 2. Some people have a genuine interest in the threads they respond within; As my status indicates, I'm just starting ... and I fall within the parameters of #2 above ... there are some amazing discussions on the Boards, and to think after collecting for about 5 years (unless you count the 10 years back between 1969-1979 before my brother sold our collection .... AHAHAHAHHRRGGGG!!!!!!), I did not participate in this ... damn ...
