  1. He sent this to my personal email Kav... which he had since he requested the scan of the wrong book to be sent to his home email account. Yep... neg still stands. You can call ebay and get the negative FB removed. Here's what I had to do recently. Someone bought a poster from me and sent payment. No message or special request attached with the payment or otherwise sent. I packaged it up and shipped immediately. The next day, he bought another poster. Same thing: packed up and shipped immediately. Both of these were BIN listings in my store. A few days later, he contacted me asking why he didn't get a shipping discount. I told him that the first poster had already shipped when he made the second purchase, so it wasn't possible to combine it. I also told him that I would have held the first poster if he would have indicated that he intended to buy another one and made this request. I also told him that I would give him free shipping if he decided to buy more (I had several listed). His response was utterly deranged. He was completely outraged that I did not combine his shipping, and he said he was going to make sure everyone knew from the feedback that he would be leaving how I had violated God and man and all that is wholesome with the universe because I couldn't read his mind after the first purchase or travel back in time after he made the second purchase in order to retroactively combine his shipping. The funny thing is this. If he would have said that he forgot to send the message, made a mistake, or acknowledged that he could understand my point, and then asked again, I probably would have sent him a partial shipping refund in good faith. However, I was not going to reward psychotic, threatening behavior. A few days later, he left two negs with profanity. I called ebay to have them removed. After verifying that my accounting of the transaction was accurate, both feedbacks were gone. His ID is jsmithsells if anyone wants to block him.
  2. I understand that feedback and criticism are part of the artistic process. The fact that you put art in quotation marks just shows how much of a troll you are.
  3. Here's another one to add: jsmithsells Here's the story, which I reported to ebay: This buyer was abrasive, used profanity to intimidate, and attempted to use feedback to extort a partial refund. He bought a poster from me, which I shipped on the same day (May 31). He did not provide any request to hold the order or to indicate that he would be making an additional purchase when he sent the payment. On the next day, he bought another poster, which I shipped the following business day. Today, he sent a message expressing his dissatisfaction that he did not receive combined shipping for his purchases, which was impossible since the first poster had shipped before the second purchase. This was his message: "I bought 2 posters from you, 1 on May 30 & 1 on the 31st & I assumed you would combine them together but instead you shipped them separately & charged me twice for shipping, don't you combine shipments ? Thanks, Jim" I sent him the following response: "Yes, I offer combined shipping. However, I ship orders immediately unless the seller requests otherwise. Since you had not requested the first poster to be held, it shipped immediately on Friday, May 30. You purchased the second poster on May 31, which was after the first poster was already in the hands of the postal service, so it was shipped separately on Monday, June 2. I have lowered the prices on the remaining posters. If you would like to make an additional purchase of two or more posters, I will ship your order for free. Just send me a reminder note when you make the purchase, and your invoice will be adjusted." He then responded with this message, and also includes profanity: "Lmfao, so I needed to remind you, cool if I buy 2 more from you I'll get it for free, see if I mistake like that I credit it back to the customer so the customer comes back because I took care of them, Needless to say, I won't be buying anymore posters from you & trust me it will be in your feedback. Have a good on dude, Jim" Too bad that I couldn't read his mind or travel back in time. Otherwise, I could have honored his request retroactively.

  5. Two and a half months later.... Finally started back on sketch covers! Here's the next one underway:
  6. How do you know which ones are price variants and which ones aren't? I mean, there are 184 of the 35 cent Marvel price variants and there's nothing to denote the difference other than the price (no starbust like the 30 cent price variants). I carry a list with me on my iPad but unless I pull that list and check for those issues I wouldn't know the difference. The "35¢" on the variants is different on the cover then it is on the regular versions. There are a few regular 35¢ books with the same typeface, but very few. It also helps to memorize the list, or at least most of it.
