  1. Hi all, I think I had one of these years ago, did a search and didn't locate it. Thus, Merry Marvelites, here be the new one! I look fwd to buying and selling again here on the boards, and thanks always for checking out any of my offerings! Long Live Stan!!
  2. Here is a very nice copy of X-men #71 CGC 9.6. Don't see many of these in the higher grades offered with this excellent centering and strong color strike. Asking $595. Paypal preferred. Payment expected within 48 hrs. First 'I'll take it' wins over PMs. Offers welcome, but lowballs will be given a Lillian Gish-like response. Prefer no returns on CGC graded books, so please ask questions before offer or buy. $14 USPS Priority shipping with delivery and signature confirm in the US. I've been on the boards since 2004. On ebay since 1998 with 100% feedback. Will package VERY securely and update buyer on each step of shipment including tracking, etc. I value communication on both the selling and buying side. Any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks for looking!
  3. Here is a nice raw copy of DD #3 in 9.2. Has a very small amount of color touch - see the large pics. Complete with Off White pages. [Could be OW/W, but I'll be conservative and call it OW] Unpressed to my knowledge. Very good candidate for a press / sub if you're into that. Asking $395. Compares very well with a CGC'd 9.2 copy that sold on Heritage. You can find that via GPA if you want to see that one. This copy looks great in hand! Paypal preferred. Payment expected within 48 hrs. First 'I'll take it' wins over PMs. Offers welcome. Returns ok, but please ask questions before offer or buy. It is restored with color touch. That's it. Price includes USPS Priority shipping with delivery and signature confirm in the US. I've been on the boards since 2004 [although haven't sold anything of late]. On ebay since 1998 with 100% feedback. Will package VERY securely and update buyer on each step of shipment including tracking, etc. I value communication on both the selling and buying side. Any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks for looking!
  4. Yep. Both nice issues, but I always liked the double feature cover of #60.
  5. I guess that's technically correct. Was thinking of when it started the regular run.
  6. Here is a very nice copy of TTA #60 CGC 9.2. Asking $865. I ship very quickly and securely. The buyer will be happy with this book! Thanks! Last sale of 9.2 that I could find was this year on CLink at $1200. Paypal preferred. Payment expected within 24 hrs. First 'I'll take it' wins over PMs. Offers welcome, but not alot of wiggle room on the price. Prefer no returns on CGC graded books, so please ask questions before offer or buy. Price includes USPS Priority shipping with delivery and signature confirm in the US. I've been on the boards since 2004 [see recent sales in kudos thread]. On ebay since 1998 with 100% feedback. Will package VERY securely and update buyer on each step of shipment including tracking, etc. I value communication on both the selling and buying side. Any questions, please feel free to ask. Thanks for looking!
  7. As more and more 'players' enter into the comic collecting realm, we can be certain that some of those players might likely game the system. It's only natural. In every Darwinian scenario, there are those who, while having all of the ability to appear to be able to survive, will only exit due to one....slight....or maybe extensive..error. Restoration. It's a....whaaa... I give you the Players de Purple Label. Please enjoy. I hope this gives any and all a smirk who have had this experience.
  8. Word. Even to a group of 9 yr old Foomers of which I was one, Morbius was old school schlock. Back then! A lame Bowie-esque take on a 70s vampire. With wings! Yay. (Too early for Gene Simmons) Venom- far more interesting, but Sony handles Marvel stories and characters with an eye on 'safeness' and that only leads to flaccidity. (Wait. Is that a word? Is now.) Hope Venom (the film vers) is good. Otherwise, I'll only refer to it as Vern. As in, Ernest Goes Symbiote. One more thing. Love seeing higher grade copies of ASM 101 go for big $$$. Like seeing pet rocks and mood rings doing well! Ha.
  9. Pretty much in agreeance with previous comments here. Without seeing more of the inside of the cover, I'm going with option #2. Qualified with some color touch. Good luck with it. Looks super nice!
  10. I did like Lockjaw though...very cool and was the one bright spot.
  11. Two nice books up for sale on Ebay that are ending tomorrow - Marvel Tales #1 CGC 8.0 Strange Tales Annual #1 CGC 7.0 Please feel free to ask any questions - thanks for looking!
  12. This one ends tomorrow afternoon. Will entertain all reasonable offers from boardies as well as any questions! Thx!
  13. Hi, Please take a look at my new ebay listing and feel free to ask any questions you may have. I am in process of getting my CGC board ID merged. I am Foommember and have been on since 2004. Can provide ref. if needed. Thanks! My Ebay Id speaks for itself. Hope you like the book. ST 114
  14. Kind of what I was thinking there. Since the resto is 'only' clean/press, this one might get out of the purple shadow. Not sure if it warrants a 9.2 if regraded tho. Looks like a small tear on lower bottom right corner of bc.
  15. Did anyone see [or perhaps purchase] this book on the Comic Connect auction? Wondering if it will end up in a new slab with possibility of a blue label... JIM 84
  16. Doesn't look faded. The brightness of the image looks tweaked as well as being 'unfocused'. Watch for tanning in an actual pic - this won't show it.
  17. Speaking of building runs, collecting for speculation, and specifically AF15, - has anyone seen this YT video? Would this be a board member by chance? Just saw this doing a search for CGC vids. Anyone know the history on this copy?
  18. Please excuse if this clip has been posted before, but I could only find screen grabs in previous threads. Anyway, watch in full motion the AF15 and JIM83 'Blowin' in the Wind' here. Oh, to have been a props guy on the set. "Yeah, I'll just take those and get some fresh ones up. No problem..."
