Not that I could afford it (unless it fits my wife, kids and cars) but if you can drop 400k on a book, 10% in taxes isn’t that big a deal. At least it shouldn’t be.

I think the rippling and bends might be able to get flattened out however a press on a chipped book is asking for trouble. My 2 cents - send to CCS if you're unsure for a pre-screen. They'll determine if you can get a grade bump and will crack, press and have the book submitted for you.

Chaz is a beauty - paid quickly great communication and highly recommend.
Cheers

This is a great list. As much as I love FF 48, I'm not really sure it's on the same level with those other Tier 3 books. It seems to me it would be in a "Tier 4" that would include books like JIM 85, TOS 52, FF 52, etc. Also you left out DD 1 and TTA 35 (perhaps on purpose) -- those would be two more books on the bubble between Tier 3 and Tier 4.
Yup...totally forgot about dd1...tier 3 for sure. I’ve always loved the surfer and am probably a little biased. Never loved TTA35 though and I think you’re right about a 4th tier....I’d include FF4 and Avengers 4 in the 4th tier as they’re not first appearances

I live in Canada and I won't buy off anyone that uses Global Shipping.
+1. Global Shipping sucks and I will not buy from sellers that use it.
I’ve paid GSP twice. Once before I realized how much it would cost and the second time because the book was valued much more than I paid.

I’ve been watching this thread closely as I sold my FF52ow/w 9.0 to partially fund a purchase of FF48w 9.6 (covered 40% of purchase price) a little over a year ago. I’m not feeling as much love for the panther long term.
It took nearly 60 years for him to become relevant and that was due to the film. It was arguably the best superhero movie to date but the surfer/galactus team haven’t even been in a proper movie....yet.
Also not crazy about the panthers super powers either. 70 billion dollars says claws look better in yellow spandex.
FF52 makes me wish comics could be short-sold.
