Make her happier by holding out for a 9.6 that has a perfect wrap. THAT'S what's really rare on that issue, a perfect wrap. Most copies of Marvel comics issued that month have moderate to severe front-to-back wrap, with the worst looking like they came from the Arvel Omics Roup. I can count the number of 9.6 copies I've seen with perfect wrap on one hand.
Not sure a perfect wrap will cheer her up but I’ve promised to take a break for awhile.....but for the right book you never know
As for the book, I’ve already picked it up. Should arrive in the next week or so and will post pics in the FF48 collecting thread. I don’t think it’s perfect (can’t see Sues entire foot) but it does Say Marvel Comics Group and appears nicely centred.

Nice book. Can’t see this lasting very long.

, come on that book isn’t THAT bad.,,based off ur description I was expecting a real dog. Deep colors...
That's what I was thinking...thought it was ok for a 4.5 but what do I know?

You know you’ve been spending too much time in the pgm threads when you’ve posted twice for the same book....and this is now my 3rd. Please post results and Gluck

sales bump. open to offers (no trades) but will be closing thread if not sold tonight.

That’s a really nice looking book. Hoping to bring my own ff48 north of the border soon. I agree with prices being at their peak but I can justify paying a premium for the right book...am also a sucker for white pages. Congrats.

Sooo due in part to your sleuthing I skipped the 9.4 and am going up to a 9.6. My wife is not impressed, but thanks again for digging this up.

4.5-5.0. Would recommend a clean and press.

Great sleuthing/intel Werner. I’ve been hunting down an FF48 in a 9.4 for awhile. While I knew it wasn’t a rare book, very interesting to see how many there are relative to other FF books.

this one looks too nice to be in a slab...a 2.0 would'nt do this cover justice
-
wouldnt be surprised at a 5.0 but can't see it below a 4.0 so I',m going with a 4.5
-
i can't see this below a 1.5 unless the grader is having a bad day...please post results

So I'm looking at picking up a book graded at a 9.2 but grader notes indicate a lite crease on the spine and fingerprints on the centre back cover. Am still kind of new'ish to collecting and this is my first experience with fingerprints. Is this something that can be cleaned if I were to re-sub? How much of a negative are they considered in collecting. I can't see the fingerprints but here's the only pic of the back cover I have.
Thanks in advance for any/all tips.

Not sure where to put this question so thought i’d try here. Spending a couple weeks in Miami and wondering if there are any great stores for Cgc marvel silver keys around here?
