He was aware of the signature. The dealer is a friend of ours and gave my wife a great price. He's actually the same guy who I assume tbone911t bought his comics from (we were set up across from him with comics too, wish you would have said hello, as we love meeting fellow boardies locally!).

 

We actually had a terrible day at the flea market and the dealer who had the Cerebus 1 had some other great items that we would have purchased if our sales had gone well (including Cerebus 2 and 4, as well as a double-cover TMNT # 3).

You are correct! I almost bought the Cerebus myself. Still debating the 9.4 ASM 129 he has.......

This mornings pickups at the World's largest flea market here locally. I passed on the 9.4 ASM 129. Might go back later......

Not the high grade goodness but have had these 3 for a long time and they're still some on my faves.

My first 9.4 Spidey!!

I can't recall any really good stores in Fort Myers/Naples area. The last one I liked going to was Bigkatt's but that closed in 2014 I believe.

 

If you don't mind an easy drive that will be about an 2 hours due East, you can visit Tate's over in Lauderhill. It's considered one of the best comic stores in the entire country (they won the Eisner in 2010). They have a lot of back issues, and vintage action figures and the like. They don't really have any graded stuff though.

I would make a night of it, because Tate's is open until 9pm. Make sure you go to the main location at:

You could checkout Tate's then head over to Fort Lauderdale (probably like 15 to 25 minutes from Tate's), have some dinner somewhere on Las Olas Blvd then watch Deadpool at the IMAX theatre.

We generally go to Sunrise to see a Panthers game so this would be perfect. Thanks for the tip!

Will be in Fort Myers Beach for vacation in March. Wondering if anyone can shed light on what the best comic shops in the area may be? Anything within a couple hours of Fort Myers is fine. Looking strictly for back issues, silver and golden, maybe even a grail. Any insight is appreciated!

Hard to be completely accurate without a scan, but with the minor corner and staple wear I would think it between a 7.5 and an 8.0. Really sharp looking copy! [/quo

Finally pulled the trigger and picked this up today to upgrade my current copy.

Even though I doubt it is almost looks like coffee. Barely bleeds through to back side of cover. Added a couple close ups of stain, spine and 1st page.

As always, any insight/opinion is greatly appreciated. Small what looks to be "28" in pencil, top right of back cover.
